Gondola Ride

The back yard of our condo.

View from the top of the mountain.

Here we are all together on the Gondola Landing.

Today I scrapbook in the morning while Tommy and Dean golfed and the kids went on a bike ride. After lunch we went to the Gondola and rode to the top of the mountain. Such breathtaking scenery. It felt like I was on top of the world.
We went to Dinner at the Bear Paw. I had a Salmon Burger. It was delicious. I had never had one before and it was worth it. Just a huge Salmon Filet made into a burger. Yummy.
Now we are back in the room relaxing and having some down time. I am going to scrap some more and then hit the hay.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for all my blessing, but the most important to me is my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I think about how blessed I am all the time.

On our way to Banff

 Hayden, Harrison, Hailey and Hannah

House featured on TV Show Weird Houses

Big Horn Sheep

Canadian Rockies

We left to go to Banff around noon after Dean and Tommy finished Golfing. It was a long drive but so beautiful.
We stopped at this crazy house that this man had made. It was on the TV Show Wierd Houses. He was a wood carver and had water spouts all over this house and would squirt us as we went down all the halls and patios. It was a really cool site.
We saw a Big Horn Sheep crossing the highway. A semi truck scared it and it ran up the hill. What a sight. And this beautiful scenery was spectacular. So beautiful.
Now we are snuggled up in our Condo and I'm ready for bed. Pics of the condo coming tomorrow.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for God's creations that he made for us to enjoy. Such exquisit beauty. I am blessed to be on this trip with the people I love so much.

Canada

 Hailey getting her bike fixed.

Ingram Kids ready to go down the mountain.

Hailey driving to Canada eating a sucker.

Proof we have arrived in Canada.

 The crazy bunch of Ingrams.

 Hailey's speedometer!! (Kilometers)

What a torrential rain storm we went through.

We have arrived at Trickle Creek Lodge.

Pretty nice place if you ask me!

We started off the day by checking out of the motel in Flathead and going to Whitefish Lake so the kids could go mountain biking and Tommy and Dean could play a round of golf.
The golf courses were packed so they didn't get to golf, but the kids went up the mountain on a ski lift and rode their mountain bikes down. They are very brave.
We had lunch at the cafe and Dean went up the lift with Hayden, Hailey and Harrison for a run down before we headed to Canada.
I rode with Hailey when we left. It was a wonderful drive through the border and through Canada. Even when it rained so hard we could hardly see the rode it was still fun. We crossed the border and showed our passports and they let us in. Amazing!
Off we went to Kimberley, Canada and checked into this fabulous Condo and had dinner at Montana's. Now we are all very tired and ready for bed.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for America and grateful that there is a beautiful Canada to visit. I am blessed.

Arrived in Flathead Lake Montana

 Traveling to Flathead Lake, Montana

 Harrison sleeping away.

Dean and his Sunflower Seeds.

Hayden at Five Guys Hamburgers.

 Flathead Lake Best Western

 Dinner at "The Brewery".

 Harrison and his Menu.

Tommy is tired I think.

We got up early and left to drive to Flathead Lake, Montana. It was a long uneventful drive.
We stopped at Five Guys Hamburger place. Their burgers were fantastic. So yummy good.
Back on the road to find a motel. We found this one in Flathead Lake. It is very nice and cozy.
After we rested from sitting in the car all day we went out to eat at the Tamarac Brewery. What delicious food but I was so full I couldn't eat very much.
Back to the room and ready for bed. I worked on organizing my pages and pictures for tomorrow.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for this beautiful country that I get to enjoy. God is good to me!

Dean and The Boys Are Here

 Unpacked and ready to repack.

Tired Dean from all that driving.

Three Musketeers

Dean and the boys arrived about 5pm and we had hamburgers and watermelon for dinner. They immediately went out to ride bikes and play with Austin.
I am doing the dishes, blogging and playing Candy Crush while Tommy and Dean watch the Dodgers ball game.
I am trying to keep up on this blog, especially on vacation. We'll see how we do.
We will be meeting Hannah and Hailey in Glacier National Park.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this son of mine. He is just the best.

Breakfast with Bailee and Grandpa

 Grandpa and Bailee

Eggs, Hash Browns and Toast made by Bailee for Grandpa.

I spent the day taking Tommy to the Eye Doctor to have a film removed that was behind his lens he had put from Cataract surgery. Now he can see good. It was so bad he could hardly see out of his eye. Now he's all set for golf.
Bailee made Grandpa breakfast and it was yummy except for the cinnamon and sugar Tommy put on his hash browns and eggs. He thought it was a salt shaker. Oops!
We cleaned up and did laundry when we got back. I had to do a food order and that took awhile. Now it's bed time for me.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for doctors that can fix things that go wrong with my Tommy. They are a gift from God.

Temple Day

Sue and I went to the Temple today. Afterwards we did a tour of my garden. Everything is growing so big and wonderful. Sue is going to harvest my garden while I'm gone to Canada with Dean and the kids.
I cleaned house and paid bills and all the other picky stuff I have to do.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful to have such a dedicated Temple partner. We are always ready and willing to attend. I love the Temple. Always the answers come.

Saying Goodbye

 At the Airport

We took Kathy and kids to the airport to catch their flight. Sad goodbyes. My house will be lonely for awhile. On the way home we got a text that Becca had left her phone in the car so we turned around and took it to her.
Some of the things we accomplished while Kathy was here.
She learned how to make homemade pizza.
Becca and Harley learned the difference between Powder Sugar and Flour. Cookies won't work when made with Powdered Sugar instead of Flour. We had a good laugh over that one.
Kathy and I ate peas right out of my garden and picked lots of lettuce for salads.
We played Candy Crush. We laughed a lot and just had a good time.
Can't wait until next year to do it again.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this wonderful family that comes to visit me. What happiness they bring into my life.

Riding Horses

Bailee on Red

 Becca on Red

 Lexie and Kathy

The kids had fun riding horses with Janna. Red is such a good horse. You can tell he is a lesson horse. Austin doesn't like riding horses so he is no where in the pictures.
It was so nice this year having Harley and Becca able to drive. They went shopping, too the movies and to Rigby Lake to swim. The down side is I wasn't there to take pictures.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for this little farm I live on. It is so wonderful to have all these animals to watch. I am blessed.

Hailey Got Her Mission Call

Becca cutting the cake without frosting!

I made a cake today and Becca decided to eat it without icing. Silly girl, that's what makes it cake.
We had a Relief Society Ice Cream Social at Tiffany's house. It was fun and the ladies just chatted away.
While I was there Dean called me to tell me that Hailey was opening up the envelop with her Mission call. She is going to Mexico City. It was fun to listen as she read the letter. I am sooooo proud of the decision she has made to serve a mission. She will be so awesome. She reports in December to Provo so she will have time to get ready.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Hailey and her desire to serve a Mission. What a wonderful blessing for our family.

Yellowstone with Kathy and Girls

 Becca, Harley and Kathy

How clear and blue the water is.

 Going for a hike.

Too many steps to the falls.

Becca, Lexie and Harley

We got up and headed out to Yellowstone. Becca drove all the way to Island Park where we stopped at Subway for sandwiches. I drove the rest of the way into Yellowstone. What a beautiful place. We didn't see all the sights we wanted because it was packed. But what we saw was wonderful.
Then we left to go home and stopped at Dairy Queen to get and ice cream for the ride home. Harley drove us home so I didnt' have to anymore. I was tired. I love that we have lots of driver in the family now.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for beautiful Yellowstone. What a magnificent place to visit. Especially with Kathy. We go every summer and never get tired of it.

Going to Walmart, etc.

 Becca is driving to Walmart.

Harley looks like she is having a good time.

 Becca, Lexie and Bailee jumping.

Kathy is a true dog lover.

Janna taking her evening ride on Red.

Yesterday the kids went to the movies I think. It's hard to remember because we were having so much fun. We did all manage to get to Idaho Falls to Walmart with Becca driving us there and Bailee driving us home.
After we got home the kids jumped on the trampoline and Kathy and I relaxed and watched Janna ride Red.
Grateful Statement: I am so very grateful for this wonderful niece of mine. I may say this every post for the entire time she is here. I am blessed to have been close to her all her life.

Kathy and Girls are Here

Made Amish County Bread and Potato soup for dinner and Janna and I went and picked up Kathy, Lexie and Becca from the airport for their 10 day stay. I just love it when they come. Kathy and I spent the evening until midnight playing Candy Crush. We laughed and chatted and played until we couldn't keep our eyes open.
Grateful Statement: I am so blessed to have such a wonderful niece. We have been close all our lives and I'm glad she spends each and every summer vacation with me. I am blessed!

Temple Day

Sue, Colleen and I went to the Temple today. I had a hard time staying alert. Just tired from Winco I think. But it was good to be there. And two more ladies have their endowments done.
Came home and cleaned house and made Chocolate Chip Cookies and Hamburgers for dinner.
I went to Broulims and got 5 yellow Gamma lids for my flour. I am slowly replacing my regular lids so I can reuse the buckets. It's so easy with the Gamma lids on.
Now I'm going to bed. Good Night, Sleep Tight and Don't Let the Bedbugs Bite. Another one of my Grandma's saying.
Grateful Statement: I am blessed to have had my wonderful Grandma in my life until I was 18. I can't wait to see her again in Heaven.

Going to Winco

Today was a really busy day. I thought I retired!
I met with a sister and filled out a food order. She is having a terrible time.
Went with Mary and got my toes done. My toenail is finally growing out. The doctor said it would take a year and I am now a believer. But we are making progress and it doesn't hurt. I love spending time with Mary. She is so sweet.
Had my presidency meeting for two hours. We always try to make them shorter but we had a ton of stuff to go over. Mainly all the sisters that are on our rolls that don't even live here.
I met with another sister and filled out a food order for her. She is having marital problems plus financial.
Then I grabbed my favorite grocery store helped named Austin and we went to Wince. It only took us an hour and a have. By nine we were home and all the frozen and refridgerator stuff had been put away. Then I really needed to hug my pillow.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for Austin and his willingness to go shopping with me. He is so helpful. I am so blessed to have the grandkids I have.

Busy Tuesday

 Lettuce

 Peas

 Zuchinni

Roma Tomatoes

Bailee and I did my floors today. It helps when two people do it. Now they are ready for Kathy to come.
Crystal and I took a baby blanket to a sister in our ward that had a baby. We visited for a little while and held her adorable baby.
I met Ashely over at the church to do Visiting Teaching reports. She had soccer practice for her son so I stayed and made the changes I needed to make for the people who had moved out lately. I also printed out the rest of the report I needed for my notebook.
Watered my garden and made a salad from my lettuce. It is just delicious. I'm going to pick some more after the sun goes down and it perks up. The heat of the day wilts it a little. I have tomatoes, zuchinni and peas that will soon be ready for my salad. Yummy!
Now it's time to vegetate.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my little garden and the things I get to grow in it. I am blessed to have space and time for a garden.

Teaching my Lesson

Bailee, Austin and I went to church yesterday. Austin had a hard time staying awake. Too much fun with his cousins. I made him walk around the building twice. Eventually we made it through Fast and Testimony meeting. He also has to give a talk next week.
Then I went to Sunday School and taught my lesson in Relief Society. I got through it and now I'm done for awhile. I wish I was as comfortable as the rest of the presidency. But it is done. I did love the talk by Quinten L Cook."Personal Peace: The Reward of Righteousness".
Came home and crashed in my chair. So much to do this week it makes my head spin.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for the opportunity to teach. It is very hard for me but I know it makes me grow. And I am so grateful for the peace I feel from my Savior.

The Boys Went Home

 Harrison is "shocking" Whiskers.

Time to play soccer with the dogs.

Janna and Harley medicating Snow Fire.

Amie came and got the boys today. I will miss their cute faces. We have had a good time. She brought Bailee home from Megan's house. Now all kids are in their proper places.
I pulled weeds and picked lettuce to give to Brittany. It is really good. Last year my lettuce was bitter but this year it is delicious. I have been making salads but I have too much lettuce.
I spent the rest of the day working on my lesson for Relief Society. I wish it was easy for me to teach but it's not. I'll just pray mightly and get some help.
Janna made Colonel Tso Chicken for dinner. It was very good. Now back to my lesson for the rest of the night.

Lazy Day

Lunch Yesterday I made a Keto Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole for dinner. AJ liked it but not Janna. Oh well. So today I had it for lunc...
