Dean's Birthday/Finished The Book of Mormon

My Cute Dean

The Book of Mormon

I called my Dean to wish him a happy Birthday. He was at the airport just leaving Thailand where they went for Christmas. The whole family went. I just love him so much.
I also finished the Book of Mormon for the second time this year. I am so glad for the challenge that President Nelson gave us to read the Book of Mormon by the end of the year. I have finally gotten to the point that I truly love to read my scriptures.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the Scriptures. They give me peace and comfort. I am blessed to love them.

Going to Home to Idaho

 Tropical to Snow

 My Driver

 My Gracie

She Loves Lego's

Austin, Gracie and I are off and driving down the road to Rigby, Idaho. Austin is such a good driver. I didn't have to drive at all. It was an uneventful trip. Gracie is anxious to get home to see what Santa brought her while she was in Costa Rica. Santa brought her a ton of Legos and some Barbie stuff.
After all this it was time for me to go to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful this little girl. She is such a blessing in my life.

Flying to Houston then to Salt Lake City

 Waiting in the Airport

 On the Airplane

We caught the shuttle at 3 am to go catch our United Flight from Costa Rico. When we got to Houston we had an 8 hour layover. They had a storm this morning so lots of flights were delayed. The Airport was packed. Janna and AJ found a computer place so we could hook up our computer. I scrapped in the airport and that made the time go a little faster.
We finally boarded our flight for Salt Lake City. It was so good to get back to the Airport Inn and a comfy bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for our safe fight home. I am blessed with Modern Technology that flies us all over to see the world.

Lexie Birthday

 Long Hallway

 More Beach Time

Going to the Shops on the Beach

 Monkey Love Banana

 Happy Birthday Lexie

 Helping Adela Behind the Counter

Gracie and Adela

We started out the day going to breakfast down this loooooong hallway. I think I walked a million steps. I don't know how many times I walked down this hallway.
After breakfast we went to the beach to play in the water. We walked down the beach to the cheap shops run by the locals. Janna wanted to buy Lexie a birthday present. She chose a beautiful green dress that she looked so good in. Everyone got some souvenirs to take home. Not me. I have my vase which is all I need.
There were all kinds of monkeys that you could feed bananas to them. Gracie loved feeding the monkeys.
One long walk back up to the hotel. Then it was time for dinner. Janna had arranged ahead of time for the hotel staff to set up our table with balloons and a birthday cake. I think Lexie really liked her Birthday Celebration.
After dinner we went to the Ritz shops to look at the pictures Adela had taken and choose the ones we wanted. I looked over and Gracie was behind the counter with Adela. How did this happen? Adela asked her boss if she could leave for a little while to walk Gracie back to the hotel. They hugged and cried.
Then it was time to go to bed so I can get up at 2 am so I could be back down to the lobby by 3am for our shuttle to the airport. So sad. I don't want to leave yet.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this wonderful vacation. My daughter is the best. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

The Wedding Without a License

"Wedding Party"

 Minister Harley

 Taking Their Vows

 These Two Love Each Other

Exchanging Rings

Janna decided to get married on the beach in Costa Rica. She was going to have someone from the resort do it. Her and AJ didn't have a marriage license so it wasn't legal anyway. Harley went on line and became a minister so she could marry her Mom and AJ. How sweet is that. She read the ceremony off her phone. It was a pretty awesome sight.
The kids were all happy especially Gracie. She loves her family so much.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful that Janna found AJ. He is so good to her. What a blessing he is in her life and the lives of the kids.

We started off this Christmas Day with Gracie going to her mom's room to see if Santa brought her anything. And there it was. A book to read, a coloring book and some other stuff. She was so happy Santa found her.
Then it was off to the beach and then to the pool. We are busy tourists.
We went back to the beach for some family photos taken by Adela. I added them to have them to remember. She is a wonderful Photograher. And Gracie just loves her.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for these family pictures. So blessed to have Adela take them for us.
