Shopping

We went to Walmart, yes I did, to exchange something and took Megan and Bailee to the mall. Heather and I had lunch at Arctic Circle. Janna watched the baby for us. Harley had to work.
John left to go home and took some of Heather's stuff with him so we can fit the rest of her stuff in my car.
That has been my day.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for the wonderful Christmas I had and my wonderful family to share it with.

Christmas Day

 John and his new pillow.

 Gracie's blanket her mom made.

 Tommy's new shirt.

Megan and Heather helping Gracie open her presents.

Gracie's favorite present from her Grandpa (a vacuum belt).

 Janna and her welding kit.

Gracie and her loot.

We opened presents at Janna and had so much fun watching everyone open their stuff. Gracie just wanted to eat everything she could get her hands on.
We had Ham, Mashed Potatoes (Janna made), Corn, Green Bean Casserole (Heather made), Rolls, Salad and Deviled Eggs (John made). It was all yummy and I ate too much. We cleaned up the giant mess and vegetated the rest of the day.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the birth of the Savior. It is so good to celebrate each year his coming into the world. I am blessed to have a testimony of Him.

Christmas Eve

 Playing Rummy
Gracie and Heather opening Gracie's jammies.
 Janna observing the kids.
 Megan videoing Gracie
Harley, Austin and Bailee in their jammies.

Gracie is not a happy camper...

John and Gracie

What a wonderful surprise when John snuck around the corner to surprise me. I thought he wasn't coming up for Christmas. He brought up tons of laundry and a big hug for me. Melted my heart.
We went over to Janna's to open the kids jammies. Gracie liked the unwrapping part but not so much putting on her jammies after her mom zipped up the zipper and caught her neck. She was on sad little puppy.
She really loves her grandpa and her grandpa loves her. It's been a most wonderful Christmas Eve. But we are all very tired and going to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my John. I love him with all my heart. I have been blessed to be his mother.

Winco Once Again

Heather bagging my groceries at Winco.

Gracie is well taken care of by Bailee and Megan.

Heather making a blanket for Gracie.

 Gracie and her gangsta outfit.

Heather and I acting crazy.

Winco was on the agenda today along with making Pretzel Turtles, Christmas Chex Mix and Meatloaf for dinner. We got it all done and Heather finished all the wrapping for Janna and I. Heather also finished the cute blanket she made for Gracie. Now we are ready for Christmas! Wahoo!!!
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the Christmas Season when we celebrate the birth of our Savior. I can't even fathom the depth of his atonement: I am grateful that it enables me to be forgiven each and every day for the things I need forgiveness for.

Christmas Program

Gracie in her Christmas Dress

Heather had to help Janna finish cleaning the carpets at her work so they would be dry by tomorrow. I wasn't sure how long it would take and if anyone would show up for church. But just before it started here came Heather, Megan, Gracie in her Christmas dress, Austin and Bailee. It was a beautiful site.
Ward Council was interesting. The Relief Society has the Spring Social that we are in charge of. I think it's better than the Christmas Party. December is a busy month.
The ward Christmas Program was wonderful. So much talent in our ward. I love to see the little children up there singing. The Spirit is always strong when children are singing about the Savior.
Came home to Crock Pot Garlic Chicken and rice. Now it's time to relax.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my Savior. What he has done for me is so vast I can hardly comprehend it. I am blessed, blessed, blessed!!!

Beautiful Picture

Megan holding the picture Heather made of Gracie.

Bailee and her selfies.

Today was a very productive day. Heather went with Janna to clean carpets at her work. I got to babysit Gracie until it was time to do one more visiting teaching sister. She is inactive and was so willing to let us visit. We had a wonderful visit with her.
After Janna brought Heather home we headed out to Pocatello to meet Tony and pick up Megan. She is spending Christmas with us. Bailee rode with us and slept the whole way there.
Came home from that and went to Broulims for plastic bags to put the Chex Mix in that. Heather made my white bags look so Christmasy and cute. Now I just have to take them around tomorrow and I am done.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my Bailee. She is just the best babysitter ever. I am so blessed with my family. I just can't say it enough. I love them all so much.

Cutest Baby on the Block

 Wearing her Valentine Jammies

We are pretending they are Christmas Jammies

Everytime we put it on she rips it off.

Success for a minute or two.

I just can't help but take pictures of my Gracie. She is so much fun. We laugh all the time about her cuteness. I really can't remember what we did today. I do remember making some Christmas Chex Mix. It is so yummy. I am giving it to my presidency and two of my neighbors.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this sweet little baby that brings so much joy into our lives. We just can't get enough of her. Blessing abound in my house with this munchkin around.

Visiting Teaching

The Cute pants Janna bought for Gracie. Heather put her cell phone in the back pocket.

 Beautiful Gracie

We have mastered rolling over.

Crystal and I went visiting teaching to all our sisters. We were even able to visit 2 sisters that we had never met before. It was a very successful day. I delivered the Pumpkin and Apple Bread with fudge and Pretzels Turtles.
Heather and I went to deliver a birthday present to Patricia Pierce. I had forgotten to take her gift so I was a day late. I said I was sorry and gave her her present.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for visiting teaching. What a wonderful program to watch over each other. It is inspired and of God.

Abbotts and Broulims

 Sitting in her Bumbo.

Trying to get out of her Bumbo.

 Helping Mommy wrap presents.

Bailee and Gracie

I made Pumpkin Bread and Apple Bread today to give out. Heather and I went to Abbots and Broulims. Gracie tried to help her mom wrap gifts. I love that Heather likes to wrap so I don't have to. She had wrapped most of our presents.
Janna took Heather to "Once Upon A Child" children's store to get some clothes for Gracie. She seems to be growing out of her clothes. It a used clothing store for kids. Such good stuff for so little.
Bailee babysat Gracie and she was bound and determined to eat the flower on Bailee's headband.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this family. They are so willing to help Heather and Gracie. Such an awesome example of taking care of each other. I am blessed!

Presidency Meeting

 Bath Time

Sharing is Nice!

Today was another lazy day. Heather spruced up my kitchen and did all my dishes. That was nice.
Bath time for Gracie was pretty cute. Then mom and her shared a cracker which Gracie DID NOT eat.
I had my presidency meeting today and had a wonderful time. I love the sisters I serve with. They are the very best.
Heather made a pumpkin spice dump cake. It was delicious and I made some Pretzel Turtles. I am trying to get stuff ready to give to neighbors and the sisters I visit.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for Relief Society and what an inspired program it is. I am grateful for my calling, even though sometimes it's hard I am still grateful to serve.

Oops

I forgot I had a PPI with the Bishop this morning. Oops! I did apologize.
Heather, Gracie, Bailee, Austin and I went to church. It was good. A returned missionary from Nauvoo spoke about her and her husband's experiences. Very interesting.
We went into the Gospel Doctrine class for Sunday School. It was a good lesson. Then it was time for Relief Society. I just love the sisters of our ward.
Came home and had the roast I had put in the crock pot with potatoes and carrots. Easy dinner...
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the gospel in my life. It brings me such peace and happiness. I am blessed to know what I know.

Shopping

 Janna is sharing!

Only Heather would make something out of the ingredients for Granola.

 Beautiful Eyes

The puppy loves this girl.

Heather made Granola for her mom for Christmas and Janna played with the puppy and Gracie. It was pretty cold and the frozen fog look. Janna took us to the mall after she worked fixing water in the barn all day. What a good daughter. We went to Walmart and JC Penney to return some stuff. It was very cold and I couldn't wait to get home but we got it done.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful that I am able to help Heather learn to make things. She is a quick learner. I am blessed to have her in my life.

More Gracie

Gracie

Today Heather and I pretty much did nothing. I took lots of pictures of Gracie. We went and got fabric for a blanket Heather is going to make for Gracie for Christmas.
I made a batch of peanut butter fudge that I cooked a tad bit too long. But it tasted good and was enjoyed by all. I also made a pot of Potato Soup. It was yummy...
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this sweet bundle of joy. She just melts my heart. What a blessing she is to us.

Gracie May

Gracie May

 No more pictures please.

Yogurt Melty on her chin.

Heather and I went to Winco to go grocery shopping. It took a long time. But it was much easier with the help of Heather and Gracie. We came home and put it all away.
We bought some yogurt treats that are supposed to melt in the baby's mouth. Gracie did not like them. She would spit it out and it would stick to her chin. We were cracking up over this one.
She does really like her walker. She can be in the same room with us and see everything that is going on.
It's mac and cheese for dinner and then it's off to bed for me. I am TIRED!!!
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the joy this little one brings into our house. She just makes us all laugh all the time. I am so blessed that she came into our family.

Heather's Birthday

Herd Dogs

 Doggies and Sheep

Tommy and I said our goodbye's to the Ingram family. Lots of hugs. Then we picked up Heather and met John for breakfast at Village Inn in Provo. We chatted and laughed with the baby and then said more goodbye's and we were off for Idaho.
On the way we stopped in Tremonton to get drinks and saw this dog looking out the peephole with a truck load of sheep. As I was taking a picture the truck driver motioned for me to go around to the other side. As he walked along all these dog head poked out. He said there was 14 of these white dogs in with the sheep. They protect them for preditors. How cute to see their faces looking out the holes.

 Harley, Toby and Gracie

When we got home Harley came right over to see Gracie. She just sat in the middle of the floor smiling. I think Harley likes this little munchkins.

 Gracie

Heather

Heather put together this pink walker that I got for Gracie for Christmas. She was so excited. We think she likes it. And of course, a picture of the Birthday Girl. She is just the best.
It's good to be home with Heather and Gracie. Now to get prepared for Christmas.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this sweet granddaughter of mine. She is very sweet to me and I am blessed to have her in my life.

Lazy Day

Lunch Yesterday I made a Keto Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole for dinner. AJ liked it but not Janna. Oh well. So today I had it for lunc...
