Sacrament Program

Today we had our Children's Sacrament Program. I love to hear these little ones sing and give their talks. My little 4 year old class was very good. I even got to sit by Carter. He wouldn't come up unless he got to sit by me. I love this little man. He tries my patience but he is teaching me to focus on what's important.
It was very good.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful to be a primary teacher. I love these little ones. Heavenly Father knew that I needed to go into primary. I am so blessed.

Bailee's Birthday

 Ronnie, Austin and Janna

 Tommy, Harley, Bailee and Gracie

Harley giving Bailee her birthday present.
Group Hug.

We went to Johnny Carino's for Bailee's birthday. Harley gave Bailee a new blingy belt. All the rest of us gave her money to buy clothes. We had a good time celebrating her birthday. I can't believe she is 17 years old. My oh my, how time flies.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the wonderful granddaughter of mine. She is so funny and keeps us all laughing. I am blessed to have her in my life.

Arizona

Sandbox Time

I watched Gracie before my flight at 5:40 pm. She loves her sandbox.
I went to Arizona from September 11th to September 18th. I had so much fun. I went to Taylor to visit Johnnie on Sunday. He made us his famous roast with baked potatoes.
Ethel and I stayed with him Sunday night. We left on Monday to visit with Della in Linden. She gave me a book of Lester and Marie Petersen. It has tons of pictures of our ancestors.
Then it was on to Claysprings to visit with Jake. Frank and Jennie came down to visit. We had fun laughing and talking.
Ethel and I had to get back because we had to borrow Jennifer's SUV, as Ethel's trucks air condition suddenly stopped working. Jennifer had kids to pick up from school. But it was so fun to see my brother even if  it was only one night.
During my stay in Arizona Ethel, Ruth and I went to lunch and dinner a few times. We canned white beans on a hot plate at Ethel's. We spent hours talking and Ruth finished a scrapbook page.
Melissa and Tassey came over so I could show them how to organize their pictures. I showed them the basics of digi scrapping.
I didn't take a single picture. What was I thinking. But I had a wonderful time with my cousins. We were just missing our Prescilla.
Ruth was supposed to fly home with me but she was bitten by a spider and had to have surgery on her finger. She wasn't comfortable leaving her doctor and I understood completely.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my wonderful cousins. I am blessed to be so close to them.

Tramp

 Tricycles come in handy.

Thank goodness she can't make it up.

She loves the tramp.

I looked out my kitchen window and this is what I saw. Gracie trying so hard to reach the tramp. Just a matter of time until she is big enough to get on all by herself. Yikes!
She loves to jump and would spend hours if we didn't have other things to do.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for my fenced in back yard with a tramp, swingset, sandbox and dogs and cats for Gracie to play with. Blessing abound.

Mowing With Papa

Mowing

Is this the cutest thing ever. Gracie loves doing things with her Papa. She is such a joy and Papa loves her so much. She would hang out with Papa every minute if we would let her.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful that I am able to take pictures of these wonderful memories. What a blessing Gracie is to us.

Riding Red

 Janna and Gracie

Gracie Loves Red

I love that Gracie will never be afraid of horses. She loves to ride with Aunt Janna and is not afraid of going fast. I am so grateful for the patience and love Janna has for her. I truly could not do this without my daughter to help me. We make a pretty good team taking care of our Gracie.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the family I have. I am so blessed to have them in my life.

Papa Loves Gracie

 Papa and Gracie

Gracie Loves Her Hat

I had to take this picture of Papa coloring with Gracie and holding her baby. What a wonderful Papa he is to Gracie. She spends lots of time with him. And she loves her purple hat that just happens to match my petunia's this year. So very sweet. And she always runs around with her phone.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this long lasting hubby of mine. I love him with all my heart. I am blessed!
