Baker City to Seaside

We left Baker City and started our journey to Seaside. We stopped at this park on the Columbine River to let Gracie swing and play. It was so fun to see her giggle and laugh. The kids liked the waterways.

 Janna and her cute kids.

Heather and Gracie enjoying the Columbia River.

Our next stop was at a fish hatchery. What a beautiful place. There were flowers blooming all over the place. The hatchery had huge fish. This fish was at least 5 feet long.

 Gathered around the trout pond.

Heather and Gracie in front of this beautiful flowering tree.

Finally we found the ocean. It was so awesome to see. But a little cold so we made back to the car fast. It was fun to see the kids getting their feet wet.

 Enjoying the ocean.

 The group on the beach.

This is our room. Heather and Gracie are my roomies.

We went out to eat and not it's time for bed. I am one tired lady. It has been so much fun and I have seen the most beautiful scenery on the way here.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the beautiful earth God made for me to enjoy. I am so blessed to be able to see all this.

The bridge. Two guys jumped off with parachutes.

The Group

Janna, Harley, Bailee, Austin, Heather and Gracie piled into my car and we were off for a mini vacation on the Oregon Coast. We are going to Baker City, Oregon where we will spend the night. And then it's tomorrow we will head for Seaside.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my wonderful daughter and all the effort she put into this vacation for us. I am blessed...
We stopped at the Twin Falls bridge so the kids could see it. Pretty impressive. Especially the two guys jumping off the bridge just as we went down. It was so cool to see them.

I'm Back

 Finding Potatos
Showing Potato
Rolling Potato
I'm innocent of any wrong doing.

I have been under the weather, like a tornado for over a week. I finally went to the Doctor on Thursday and was diagnosed with bronchitis. I have and inhaler, steroids, antibiotics, allergy medicine and good old Vicks Nyquil for cough.
After 4 days of this regiment I am feeling much better. Still coughing but nothing like it was. We will be going to Utah tomorrow for Hannah Graduation so it's a good thing I am feeling better.  No church, no Temple or anything else last week. Just trying to survive to live another day.
And of course, I had to include pictures of Gracie.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my family. It's good to be surrounded by loved one every day. I love them all.

Temple-Absolutely Inspiring

 Pots
Strawberries

I went to the Temple with Sue this morning and did some Sealings. As I was sitting in the Sealing Room I kept looking around to see if I could see anyone. I did 10 couples and 10 daughters so there was an additional 30 people in that room. It must have been crowded. I absolutely know they would come to be apart of such an awesome thing. I was so inspired to do more genealogy. I am almost out of names.
I came home from the Temple and ran Heather and Gracie to the doctor. Gracie had a temperature and wasn't feeling very well. The doctor didn't know what was wrong with her so he prescribed meds for an infection.
Then I planted all my buckets full of Strawberry Plants. I still have oddles of plants to thin out. But I really think they will do well in these buckets and I can take care of the runners easily. Harley got this for me for Mother's Day and had grandpa build it. It is so cute, I love it. What a thoughtful granddaughter.
Then I went and ran papers to the sisters that I had changed for visiting teaching, came home and watched Gracie while Heather went to work.
Now it's time for bed. Good Night!!
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the inspiration that I receive in the Temple. It keeps me grounded and on the right path. I am so blessed to be so close.

Busy Week

Cowgirls

Farm Work

Summer

I have been doing visiting teaching, babysitting little sweetness Gracie, Scrapping, etc.
Today Heather and I ventured out to Winco. We both think it's a chore but necessary. I got all the groceries I needed so I can feed the mob. Came home and went visiting teaching to our third sister. Visited one and two on Monday. Now we just have four but she is hard to get.
It was a most beautiful day today. Heather fed Gracie her lunch outside on the patio and she got a sunburn. Who would have known that.
I took a food order to a sister and then to the Bishop and back to the sister. That is the end of this day.
Well that's it and now it's time to watch American Idol and then off to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my family. They are my greatest blessing.

Mother's Day

Look what Gracie made me.

I had the most wonderful Mother's Day. Dean called me to wish me a Happy Mother's day and told me he loved me. They sent me a wonderful card with a gift card enclosed.
Janna gave me a card and worked hard to finish my craft room for me. What a wonderful daughter she is.
John sent me a sweet email to tell me Happy Mother's day.
Gracie made me this card. Then she proceeded to rip it up and not want to let it go. She had almost as much marker on her face as she had on the card. So Cute...
Grateful Statement: My most happy moments always have to do with my kids. They are so dear to me. I would do anything for them. I am blessed to have them in my life.

Temple Day

I went to the Temple with Sue today and did an endowment. Such a peaceful place to feel the Spirit. When I came out I had missed a call from Dean. So I called him back and him and Amie had gone to the Temple in the morning too. How I love this family of mine. And how I love that they go to the Temple too...
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the Temple. It truly is my place of refuge in the hectic world we live in. I am so blessed to live 20 minutes from two Temples.

Another Beautiful Sabbath

Gracie and Memphis in the Stroller.

Off to the barn.

Yesterday Heather took Gracie to the barn so she could help Janna. Gracie just sat in her stroller and then fell asleep. What a cutie pie she is.
Today was Fast Sunday and it was wonderful. Good testimonies. Good things happening to the Marley family. Jessica came to Relief Society so we are making huge progress.
Came home from church and Austin made waffles and I made Buttermilk Syrup. So good.
Now it's bed time for me.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the Gospel. I love the direction it gives to my life. I love it with all my heart. I am blessed!!

Last Day Going to Blackfoot

 Gracie and Janna

I have spent the week taking care of Gracie all day and driving two hours to pick Heather up in Blackfoot and bringing her home. She is taking a class to be an Addiction Coach. She will be so good at it.
Janna called me this afternoon and said she would be off work in time to get Heather. What a nice surprise. I didn't have to make that trip again.
Heather came home, changed her clothes, gave Gracie lots of kisses and then off to her job at Pizza Hut.
Janna took Gracie out to feed Memphis and when I looked out the window her and Gracie were on the tramp.
Today was a good day in the neighborhood. Such beautiful weather. I made Chili and corn muffins for dinner and babysat this cute little baby all day. Now it's time to chill and watch some TV.
Grateful Statement: Today I am grateful for the opportunity I had to watch this little munchkin all week. Sometimes it was pretty hard on my back but so worth it to have her give me loves and kisses. I am blessed beyond measure.

Lazy Day

Lunch Yesterday I made a Keto Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole for dinner. AJ liked it but not Janna. Oh well. So today I had it for lunc...
