Janna bought a pony named Menion for Gracie and Madi. He is so cute and they will have so much fun with him. And Janna will teach them how to take care of him and how to ride. He is just the right size for Gracie.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the love Janna has for Gracie. She will make the best mom all of Gracie's life. Blessed!

Starting Adkins

Heather has a time share so we went to Bear Lake and stayed in a condo for our scrapping weekend. We had so much fun. We laughed, went out to lunch, made dinner and scrapped. I love these ladies so much and we have so much fun together.

I started Adkins a couple of weeks ago. I was able to stay on it the whole time I was gone. I took a picture to see my progress as I lose this weight.

There was a big fire in the mountains behind Elk Ridge and everyone was evacuated. We went to borrow a cable from Heather Walentine. She was so sweet. She showed us all around her Cabin. It was huge and there were pictures of ancestors everywhere. She thanked me for getting her started on food storage when I was in charge of Preparedness in Elk Ridge 5th.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for all the fun adventures I get to go on with my friends. I am so blessed to know these ladies and to have an influence on others and not even know it.

My sweet daughter bought all the material to build my a greenhouse. What a gift. I love to dig in the dirt and growing things. I can now start all my plants early. I am going to grow Petunia's for all our hanging baskets. My Tommy built it for me. He is so good at building things.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the care my family does for me. I am so blessed to have a greenhouse.

My Team Teacher Connie

I love this team teacher Connie. She is so awesome and such a good teacher. And there is Gracie who should have been in her own class but she just wants to be with Grandma. So I let her. I love to watch how these little one progress. They start out not even being able to sit in their seats and then they progress to saying prayers by themselves to sitting in their seats.

Grateful Statement: I am grateful to be a Sunbeam teacher. I am blessed that I get to watch these little one grow.

Gracie is in Love

I had two setting hens that were sitting on eggs. I had marked the first one but not the second so I kept gathering her eggs. One day I walked into the chicken coop and heard a baby chick chirping. The mom was off the nest so I could get a picture. The next day there were 2 chicks. I was worried about how they would get their chicks down on the ground to eat and drink water. Our nest boxes are pretty high. A couple of days later when I went to gather eggs the hen and her 2 chicks were down on the ground. And the other hen was with her. They made sure no one bothered the chicks. It was so fun to watch them take care of the little ones. 

And of course, Gracie had to hold them and fall in love. She loved that the chicks were so soft. The joys of farm life.
