Ward Council

 Janna and Harley

Austin

Today I went to Ward Council and gave the Spiritual Thought. It was a very good meeting. Our ward is doing so much missionary work and so many inactive and part member families are coming back. Two fathers have started coming so their kids can get baptized. We are on fire!!!
Lyn Olsen taught our Relief Society lesson and she was awesome. She is a natural born teacher. I am so glad the Lord directed her to me. They also called Aarin Smith as my first councilor. She will also be so much fun to work with. I know she is a hard worker.
I came home from church and took a nap. I was so tired. Heather and Janna had a bail call last night so I watched Gracie while they met the mom to bail out her son. By the time I got to bed is was past eleven and one before I got to sleep. Then I got up at 5:30 so I could be at the ward at 7:25.
That's been my beautiful sabbath. So grateful for a day of rest.
I also made these two pages last week. One day I will be caught up.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my Savior. I want to know Him so much better than I do.

A New Addiction

 Pray
Owls

Heather and I have been very busy making wood creations. We took a class last Thursday and we are hooked. I made these owls for my bathroom to put in the window sill. And my PRAY to remind me to pray often.
I have been very busy this last week doing service and all sorts of things.
I do believe Sunday we will have our new counselor. I think she will be awesome.
I went to the Temple this morning and did 25 sealings and 5 initiatories. It was a wonderful day.
Now it's time for bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the ability I have to create things with Heather. I am blessed to have her in my life.

Laundry, Laundry and More Laundry

Heather, Gracie and I met another sister at the laundromat to do laundry for the house we attempted to clean yesterday. Can I say when someone talks about a mountain of laundry I know what that is. We probably did around 17 loads of laundry, 4 of which were giant washers. If I would of known what was happening things would have been different. But we got it all done and Marietta was going to deliver it when the family got home from the doctors. Heather was such a big help. And Gracie liked rolling around the laundromat in her walker.
I had already gone to the gym this morning before we went to the laundromat and after I went visiting teaching with Crystal. It has been a long tiring day. I am ready to hug my pillow and that's just what I'm going to do.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful today for visiting teaching and that we are able to connect with the sisters. I feel so close to my Savior when I am visiting the sisters in our ward. What a blessing Visiting Teaching is.

Service with a Capital S

I went to the gym this morning and walked on the treadmill.  It felt good to be at it again.
I came home, gathered my cleaning supplies and went to a sister's house to clean. What a mess. So filthy. We cleaned the bathroom and I started on the kitchen. I washed, soaked, washed and soaked some more. There were dishes everywhere and rotten food in crock pots. After a couple of hours I had to quit. It was just making me sick.
I had to take Heather and Gracie to the clinic so Gracie could get her second flu shot. She cried for about 2 seconds and then she was fine.
The Bishop came over tonight to bring me a gift card for laundry soap to do laundry at the laundromat. He talked with Tommy for quite a while. Then Heather, Bailee and I went to Walmart to spend the gift card.
Home again and then off to Tiffany's to pick up her donation for this laundry. Good people in our ward.
Now I am exhausted and going to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the words of President Posten to Meet the Lord early. I had my personal prayer this morning and I really think it helped me get through this hard day. I am blessed beyond measure to have the leader I do.

Gracie is on the Move

 On the move...
Good tasting keys...

Today was so very good. I started out with Ward Council and then we had Ward Conference. Wonderful speakers... Brother Black taught our Sunday School Class and talked about the Armor of God. But the Shield of Faith was the one we focused on. It says "Above all, taking the shield of faith..." It is so important that we have faith in Jesus Christ. Then President Posten told us to "Meet the Lord early". That was directed to me, I just know it. So I will try to increase me faith in Jesus Christ and meet the Lord early in prayer.
Had to attend the Trek Fireside to find out all about it for Austin. Now I'm home and ready for bed.
It has been a wonderful spiritual day.
Gracie decided to roll over to my purse and get out my church keys while Heather and I were busy scrapping. Teach us to trust her to stay in one place.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for Brother Black's and President Posten's word. Just what I needed.

2011 Finally Scrapped... Wahoo

Sugar Cookies

Christmas

Birthday Boy

I can't believe that I finally finished all the pages for 2011. I have started on 2012. I will get caught up, I will, I will.
Heather and I went to pick up the chicken from Zaycon. Then we went to Broulims for a few groceries and home. It is so bitter cold we couldn't wait to come home and get warm. -11 just isn't a temperature you want to be out in.
Spent the afternoon scrapbooking and playing with Gracie.
I went to my Stake Meeting this evening and went to visit Betty Campbell and Britney Barzee. Sister Birch and I had a wonderful time visiting with these sisters. It was snowing when I came home so I'm done for the night. It's late and I am going to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for the sisters that we were able to visit. I love Relief Society and the inspired program it is. I am blessed to serve the sisters in our ward.

Harley's Birthday Dinner

 Eating at Johnny Carino's
 Birthday Girl, Harley
Gracie

Heather and I went into Idaho Falls this morning and bought a wood project to do at a class for next Thursday night. So much for the Book of Mormon class. Tomorrow night I have to meet with the Stake and go for visits. But maybe I'll make a couple more before we are done.
We met Janna, Ronnie and the kids at Johnny Carino's for Harley's birthday dinner. It is Italian and so very good. We had fun and Gracie was the star of the show with her cuteness.
It was bitter cold and snowing so we came home quick and snuggled in our warm houses. Now it's time for bed because I'm very tired.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the wonderful family I have. So blessed to be part of all this.

Bailee's Has A Drivers License

After Heather cleaned my house (so wonderfully) we picked up Bailee from school and took her to the DMV to get her driver's license. All those many hours behind the wheel with her paid off. She passed her driver's test on Friday with flying colors and today she got the real thing. She is so happy.
 Paying the money.
Paper License...

Came home and had stew for dinner and pretty much vegetated. It's good to sit in a clean house and scrap book. I am almost done with 2011. Wahoo. 1 1/2 layouts left to go.
Church was good on Sunday. They released Tiffany and took her into young women's. So I am without a 1st counselor. Maybe by Sunday they will have made the calls and I will have a new one.
Heather put her finger in Gracie's mouth on Sunday and realized she had two teeth. You can't really see them yet but they are there. How much fun she is. She is so good in church, just looks around.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Heather and how much she helps me. I am so blessed to have her and Gracie around. They just make me happy. I love my family.

Lazy Day

Lunch Yesterday I made a Keto Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole for dinner. AJ liked it but not Janna. Oh well. So today I had it for lunc...
