Happy Birthday to My Son John

I accomplished so much today. I balanced my checkbook and paid my bills, canned (dry pack in mason jars) 50 lbs of black beans, picked Heather up from work and watch Gracie off and on with Bailee, went to the store for potatos,  made a big pot of potato soup and homemade bread and finished this page I had started at Heather's house. That was everything on my list.
Dean is up for the night picking up signs and saw horses he made for Arive Homes.  I just love my kids so much. I talked with John and wished him a happy birthday.

 4 loaves of Bread

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Dean and how sweet he is to me. What a blessing my kids are to me. I am Blessed!!

Scrapping Weekend

Heather and I left for Utah on Thursday after her orientation for Pizza Hut. She has a job there. It was around 3pm before we got under way so we didn't get to Spanish Fork until around 8pm. I took her to John's so she could stay with him and I was off to Elk Ridge to stay with Dean and Amie.
I got up on Friday and went grocery shopping with Heather so she would have something to eat. John's cupboards were bare. Then it was off to Heather Merrill house to scrap book. I spent all day Friday and Saturday scrapping with my friends. I have had a cough for over a week and it drove me crazy so I went home around 9 or 10 both nights.
On Saturday we watched the Women's Conference. That night when I came out to go home my car wouldn't start. I think I must have left the ignition on ACC. So Dean and Amie had to rescue me. Thank goodness my kids take such good care of me.
I got up this morning and took John to breakfast and Heather, Gracie and I were off. It was some pretty bad weather but we made it safe and sound. Gracie slept the whole way. She is just the best traveler ever.
Heather had to be to work at 6pm tonight so I hemmed her pants for her and Janna took her to work. I am going to pick her up when she gets off.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the words of President Eyring. I am going to listen to his message again tonight when I go to bed. What wonderful leaders we have.

Green Canyon Ward Activity and Austin's Birthday

Heather and Gracie getting ready to swim.

 Swimming

 Our ward in the pool.
Feeding the masses.

Austin is opening his presents.

I got up this morning and made a crock pot full of Sloppy Joe's for our ward activity. Heather, Gracie and I took off for Green Canyon. It was over an hour away and we had quite the adventure finding our way. My GPS just couldn't track it once we got off the main road. But it was fun. Heather and Gracie had so much fun in the pool. I took pictures and then we set up all the food and it was a matter of keeping the buns on the table. It worked out good. Now we are done until next year.
We came home and I made Austin's birthday cake for him. He loves my chocolate bundt cake with fudge frosting on it. He came home with his dad and all his friends from the movies and opened presents and had cake.
That has been my day. I'm glad it went well. Now it's bed time for me.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for our ward. We really have so many willing hands. I am blessed to be in this ward.

Visiting

I visited a sister today because I was worried about her. She is struggling but getting through it. Health issues are always hard.
I worked on my Cookbook today. I am making sure everything is printed and then I will have to divide it into two books. My recipe collection just keeps growing.
I took Heather to Pizza Hut for a job interview. She felt good about the interview. She is working hard to get her drivers license so she needs money. I love how hard she is trying to make a good life for Gracie.
And I totally forgot about the Stake Relief Society Birthday Dinner. My life is crazy busy.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the sisters in our ward. I love them all so much. I am blessed to be able to serve them.

Caring for the Sisters

Only the front door could stop her.
On her way to clear off my plants.

Today I had my meeting so we could figure out the Green Canyon activity that we are in charge of. I think it is planned. We will see on Saturday. I am making sloppy joes with the rest of the presidency. I am just glad we aren't in charge of the Christmas Party like last year.
Then we went over who we could replace one of our teacher that just moved with. The Bishop suggested on Sunday to just ask someone each month. I don't know about that. We will see what we can do.
After the meeting Heather and I ran to the store to get bread and cold medicine for Janna. She came home early with a miserable cold. I hope she feels better soon.
Then it was off to the neighbors so we could watch their 5 little munchkins while they went to the Temple.
I watched Gracie this morning while Heather worked and she figured out forward in her walker. Can I just say I must remove my night lights that light up my house a little at night and my plants. She is on the move and can get into everything. How cute she was working her way around the house.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this wonderful little baby that adds so much joy and laughter to our home. She is so precious and straight from Heaven. We are Blessed!

Winco and Walmart

Yesterday Heather and I went to Winco to do our grocery shopping. I was tired and Heather had a headache but we did it anyway.
After we got home Heather's headache just got worse and worse so we went to Community Care and they sent us to Idaho Falls for a brain scan. It was fine and with the muscle relaxers and the pain meds she should be feeling better.
Today Heather was better but not up to par. Bless her heart she went to work for 4 hrs cleaning Janna's office anyway. Gracie and I picked her up and we went to Walmart and got Gracie some size 18mo clothes. We want to make sure they fit her beyond next month. She is getting so big. Nothing fits her.
I made Lasagna and Foccacia Bread for dinner and did the dishes and now I'm beat.
I have been indexing Iona, Idaho obituaries. It is a lot of hard work but I am glad I'm able to figure it out.
Good Night, I'm going to bed!!
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for all I have. I am so blessed to live where I live with who I live with and the calling I have. I am truly blessed by my Heavenly Father.

Idaho Here We Come

Heather and I put Gracie in her car seat, went to Village Inn with John and had breakfast and we were off. It was an uneventful 4 hours. Gracie only fussed a couple of times. She is such a good traveler.
I am tired and going to watch American Idol and then I'm going to bed.
Grateful Statement: Grateful for Heavenly Father watching over me as we drove home.

Running Kids

Today I took Harrison to school because he couldn't ride his bike and the bus had already gone. Then I got Hayden out the door and took my shower. Then I got a call from Harrison, he had run out of strips for his tester and needed lunch so I made him a sandwich and found the strips and took them to his school. Then I thought I would go to the mall but I just didn't have it in me so I came home. John stopped by to give me a hug and that has been my morning.
I indexed a bunch of records today so I feel like I did something useful. Heather can't wait to go home tomorrow. Gracie is driving her nuts because she can't get down in Tommie's house so Heather has to wrestle her all day long.
I made leftovers for dinner and steamed broccoli and made a salad. It was pretty good and healthy.
Now it's time for me to go to bed and get some sleep for my long ride home tomorrow.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for the indexing program. As I did the Passport Applications there was a picture attached of the person and tons of information. Heavenly Father wants all this information brought forth so we can do the work. I am blessed to know how to do this.

Puzzle

Scavenger Hunt

I took Heather, Gracie, Megan and Cheyenne to lunch today. We went to Subway in Walmart and then picked up a couple of things for the house.
I finished the Reavis family I was working on. I am ready to print out the cards for the ladies. I sent the men to have the Temple do them. I just can't get them done but the Temples need names so now they have a few more.
I also started indexing again. It has been too long. I need to do a couple of batches each day. I know this is important work so I need to get my tail going....
Last night someone left an envelope on the front porch for Hannah to ask her to prom. It was a scavenger hunt. So off she went and came back with puzzle that she had to put together. Harrison, Hayden and I helped her. So fun to be a senior.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the ability I have to do indexing. I have done it for years and have been blessed by many spiritual experience along the way.

At Home

I felt so at home in the Elk Ridge 5th Ward. So many familiar faces and so many wonderful hugs. I love these people to death. I left after Sacrament so I could keep finding my Reavis family. They are the ones that I have been seeking. I knew someone didn't have their work done. All the kids were not on Family Search and no work had been done. So I'm keeping the ladies and sending the men to the Temple System. Still have 3 kids to research and the family is done. I love Ancestry.com. I just bit the bullet and bought it month by month.
Another dinner by the famous chef Amie. Tuna Casserole... One of my all time favorites. I made a salad and Hannah made brownies for dessert. Then it was back to the Reavis' family until late.
That has been my restful Sabbath day. Not to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to help in the missionary work in our ward. Susan Tuckett opened my eyes today. I told her about our 50% inactive and how the Bishop is gathering them in. She said "I wish I was there with you to help." It made me realize that this is a blessing to be able to work in Rigby, Idaho, gathering the inactives. I am blessed.

Doing Geneology, Jurrasic Park, and Scrapbooking

SHHS

Stitches

 The beginning of Harrison's arrow.

Final arrow made from a crooked stick.

Hayden loves his ipod.

Crazy Hannah eating chocolate.

What a wonderful, peaceful relaxing day. I worked on geneology, played Jurrasic Park and Candy Crush, and scrapbooked two pages. Now that's what I call a good day.
I kept track of the kids and where they were at so I wouldn't lose anyone.
Amie had a spaghetti pie in the freezer I heated up for dinner. Harrison wasn't hungry and Hannah went to a Birthday get together for one of her friends so it was just Hayden and I for dinner.
Harrison went over to Christian Hayes house for a couple of hours tonight. Almost time to round him up.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my Ingram Grandkids. I love them to pieces. I am blessed beyond measure.

Gone to Utah

Heather, Gracie jumped in the car with me and we were off to Utah. Heather surprised her mom with a visit. It was priceless. Gracie slept the whole way.
I am taking care of the kids while Dean and Amie go away until Wednesday. I am so glad they get to do something fun.
Now I am beat and going to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for a safe trip here. I know Heavenly Father watches over me when I travel.

MIA - But I'm Back

 Birthday Girl
Hard Work

What in the world happened to me for a week and a half. I just don't know. I do know I have been busy.
I did manage to do these pages sometime in there. So I guess I can account for some time.
Redoing Visiting Teaching after our conferences took the entire presidency meeting time.
Today Crystal and I went to visit Jessica who was baptized on Saturday. We gave her the lesson and then I asked her if she wanted to be a visiting teacher. She said yes!! So I have a partner for her already so we are good to go.
Then we stopped by a new sister in our ward and welcomed her to Relief Society. She is having a baby next week maybe so we need to be ready to take meals into her and give her a baby blanket.
I also went to the Temple this morning and I am going to my Book of Mormon class tonight with Sue. We discussed the three Nephites and why it's important to us to know about translated beings. Very insightful!
That's my day.... After my class Heather is going to make me a pineapple coconut shake and I'm watching American Idol.
Grateful Statement: Today I am so grateful for Jessica and her good choices. I just love her already, tatoos and all. What a kind and sweet person she is. I am blessed to be able to get to know her through visiting teaching.

Lazy Day

Lunch Yesterday I made a Keto Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole for dinner. AJ liked it but not Janna. Oh well. So today I had it for lunc...
