Back to the Land of the Living

Janna and Bailee - So cute!

Brings back memories of building my house.

I have been so sick I couldn't go to the Women's Conference or Church on Sunday. But today I am feeling much better. I made these pages last week so I did do something.
 Gracie has attitude!

Heather sends me almost a pic a day and this is one of my all time favorites. What a face!
Today I worked on finishing a quilt I made years ago. I am going to get all my projects finished.
I made Biscuits, Eggs, Country Gravy and Fried Potatoes for dinner. Now I'm tired and I'm going to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for good health. I am grateful for feeling better. I am grateful for the power of prayer. I am so blessed!

Going to the Temple

Went to the Temple today with Sue. That's about all I could muster today.
Every time I have any dental work done my mouth breaks out in canker sores. I have one on the side of my tongue that is huge. I can hardly eat and it hurts to talk. So I have been a slacker. I will try to do better.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for the Temple and that my Savior took upon him my sins so that I can feel worthy to enter His holy house. I am so blessed to live between two Temples.

Going to the Dentist Again

Today I went to the dentist and got my permanent crown put on. They thought they would try it without any pain killer. Not!!!! So they numbed me up and everything went fine after that.
I also made Spinach Pesto for the 2nd time in my life today. When Heather was here we got some spinach for the pizza's and only used a little bit so I decided to make some pesto. It worked really well and I gave some to Sue. I knew no one at my house would eat it. I am going to make pasta tomorrow and put some on it.

Austin riding horses with Mom and Harley.

How high can this kid jump.

I really have been scrapping my pictures. I'm going to try to do more. I wish I didn't get tired of doing things. But I think I am back at this.
Ron took Bailee, Janna and Austin out to dinner because today is Bailee birthday. How can she be 15 years old. Times just keeps flying by
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for the Gospel. Hardly a day goes by that I am not reminded of how wonderful this gospel makes me feel. I am blessed!

Temple Day

Sue and I went to the Temple this morning and had a really good time. So much peace and comfort comes to me inside the Temple walls.
After that I went to Walmart, Home Depot and Kohl's with Janna. I got some cute little jammies for Gracies with feet for the winter and a winter lined zip up suit with a hoody so she can be warm and cozy in the winter months. I will sent these off tomorrow to Heather.
Heather signed up for beauty school and they have day care so she can take Gracie with her. She is excited. Me Too!! Well it's my bed time. I am tired.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my little Gracie. So precious and wonderful to have a little baby in the family. I am blessed.

Bailee's New Puppy

 One Happy Bailee

 One Cute Dog

Texting all her friends.

Janna and Harley drove all the way to Centerville, Utah and back home to pick up this cute little Sheltie Puppy for Bailee for her Birthday. She always wanted a Maggie of her own and now she has one. She was so happy it made her cry. Now on to the chewing puppy era. She named her Toby and she is settling in really good. Maggie even tolerates her.
I went to the Book of Mormon class with Sue tonight. I just love this class. He makes the Book of Mormon make sense. He talked about the war chapters in Alma. They are there because it is about the war in heaven and Jesus' side and Satan's side. What good information. I will never read these chapters in the same way again.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Brother Black and his insight into the Scriptures. He must be an awesome seminary teacher for BYU Idaho students. WONDERFUL!!!

What Did I Do Today?

I know I cooked dinner. I know that I watched Sarah again today. I know I delivered Visiting Teaching stuff to my supervisor. I know I did laundry. I know that we had a downpour and lightning and thunder at 4am and I couldn't get back to sleep. That's all I know. So today I am a zombie.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for the rain. I didn't have to water my garden when it really needed it. Heavenly Father is good to me.

Day of Service

I visited with a non member sister that has a 7 day old baby girl to see what we could do for her. I bought a blanket and Crystal and I took it over to her. Jessica let us bring dinners to her for 3 days. So I made dinner and Crystal made dessert and I took it over at 5:30. I set up dinners for tomorrow night and Crystal set up dinners for Wednesday.
I watched Sarah after school for Denise so she wouldn't be home alone. She always is curious as to what I am cooking. Funny girl.
After delivering my chicken noodle casserole, cucumbers from my garden and a loaf of Amish Country Bread I had made, I grabbed Tommy's truck and took Colleen to Home Depot to get wood for her fence so she can get a propane tank delivered so she has heat.
After all that I was tired and went to bed early.
Missing my Heather and Gracie today. My house is too quiet.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for the opportunity I had today to serve the sisters in my ward. Heavenly Father is so caring of all of us and sends us to watch over each other.

Gracie's Blessing Day

 Auntie Megan and Gracie

 Heather, Gracie and Great Grandma

Janna, Heather, Gracie, Austin and Bailee

 Bailee and Gracie

Austin and Gracie

Today was the big day for our sweet little Gracie. She was blessed by Brother Clayson, my home teacher and the Bishopric and Brother Neville and Brother Johnson stood in the circle. It was a powerful blessing and so much about the influence Gracie would be on the lives of her family and friends. Heather and I had a good cry, especially for me when they gave her the name of Gracie May Janice Ingram. My heart just melted that she would have my name. What a joyful time!
Everyone went home after Sacrament so Heather and Megan could get ready to catch the shuttle and I stayed until Relief Society was over. Then it was off to the shuttle and sweet goodbyes. What a wonderful time we had.
Grateful Statement: I must be so grateful this day that the Gospel can bring such marvelous changes in peoples lives. I am grateful that my family will support each other. I am blessed to have Gracie for my Great Granddaughter.

Gracie riding her new pony we bought her.

 Trying on her Blessing dress.

Posing just for us.

Busy day today. We went to the market to get stuff for Pizza. Of course we forgot the pepperoni and had to go back. Janna took Bailee, Megan and Maude to the movies and Janna and I went to pick them up. We went to Kohl's while we were waiting for them to get out of the movie and found my rugs for my kitchen and 2 outfits for Gracie and some toys. What a cutie pie she is.
Then Heather tried on her blessing dress that was Bailee's when she was blessed. It fits her to a tee. So very beautiful.
We made homemade pizza and now it's time for bed. I'm tired.
Grateful Statement: Today I am grateful for my family. They all seem much more precious with each passing day. I am blessed....

Heather, Megan and Gracie on the Farm

 Cutie Pie Gracie

 Petting Horses

Gracie, Heather and Megan scaring the Fainting Goats.

We took a tour of the farm this morning, ate lunch, and then, when Bailee got out of school it was time to go to the mall. Megan and Bailee had a ball shopping. Heather and I left them there and went to Walmart to get a few things. I tried to get new rugs from JC Penney's but they don't carry them anymore. What's up with that!
We came home around 7pm and made Chicken on the BBQ, Corn on the cob and salad from my garden, and some rice. It was yummy. Then we laughed and had fun until it was bed time. Now we are all going to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for all I have. I am so blessed to have lived the life I have. And have I told my journal before, I Love My Family. Pretty sure I have, a thousand times.

Heather Has Arrived

I went to the Temple with Sue today. It was peaceful and I enjoyed every moment.
I came home and Tommy helped me clean my floors. I vacuumed and got all ready for Heather.
I also bought a bunch of kits at $1.50 each or less. Stuff to Scrap is going out of business so there was some great deals. Now I just have to break them down and I'll be ready to use them.
Heather's shuttle was supposed to be in Rigby at 7:15pm but it was 9pm before it got here. What a long drive. But Heather, Megan and Gracie finally arrived. What a cute little baby that Gracie is. Now we are all tired and going to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for my Heather and the wonderful choices she is making for her and Gracie. She is a wonderful mom. I love her so much and am truly blessed to have her as my granddaughter.

Today was a Winco day. Hard work because I had to go alone. But it's done and I'm all stocked up on food. Janna and Harley put it all away for me.
Then I made Janna a German Chocolate Cake with Pecan Coconut Frosting, her favorite. Pecan Crusted Salmon with green beans and rice for her birthday dinner.

Court of Honor

Austin getting all his merit badges.

Austin pinning his mom with her pin for his advancement.

Scouts all hunkered down.

Today was a busy day. I got my hair done, took Megan her stuff to Rexburg, had my presidency meeting, made a roast in the crock pot for dinner. Then we went to Austin's Court of Honor. It was so good to have Janna go. He was one happy scout.
Now I'm tired and ready for bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for all I have and all the blessing that I am given. I am a truly blessed daughter of Heavenly Father.

Doing Nothing Day

Cell Phone Itis

No energy, so nothing much done. I did make this page and got some more pictures ready to scrap so that was good.
I made potato salad, cucumber ranch dressing, hamburgers, and brownies. That's dinner. I messed up a ton of dishes and got them done. Wahoo!
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for this daughter of mine. She is so good to me. I am so blessed to have her for my daughter.

Sabbath Day

Cowboy Up

Church was wonderful. I gave the opening prayer and we had a missionary farewell. Tons of people were there. Came home and Janna made waffles for dinner. Worked on this page this morning and after church.
Now I'm going to bed 'cause I'm tired.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for missionaries. I am grateful that the youth of the church are so willing to spend 1 1/2 to 2 years doing the Lord's work.

Buying Kits

Hanging Out

I went shopping on line this morning and bought some kits. Then I had to download them and take them apart. It took all morning. In between doing all this I watered my garden really well and made some Amish Country Bread. I have decided I need to start another Sour Dough Starter. Janna and I really like it. That's my next job.
I made this page this afternoon. I just keep scrapping and I don't care if they all look alike. That's the reason I stopped scrapping because they all looked alike. But being 2 years behind certainly didn't make it better and who cares if they all look alike. It's the pictures we are scrapping so I'm on a roll.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for the Gospel. I am grateful for the power of prayer. I am grateful for the knowledge that Heavenly Father loves me and knows my struggles and joys. I am blessed!

Went to the Dentist

Tigers

Today was the day to get my Crown done at the Dentist. Thank goodness for nitrous oxide to make me not much care what they are doing to me. I think it's the grinding noise that bugs me. But the worse part is done so I am relieved.
I picked 6 ears of Corn from my garden, Cucumbers in vinegar from my garden, Mashed potatoes from the store and Chicken Fried Steak that the kids love. I had most of it done before the Dentist so I just had to come home and finish it. I love going out and picking vegetables from my garden. I cut up and froze all the Bell Peppers that were ready so I can grab a handful for stir fry or whatever I need them for.
I worked on this page of cute Austin and now I'm going to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Esther and the wonderful dentist she is. I am blessed to live in an age where there is such knowledge to keep my poor teeth together.

Going to the Temple

Critters

Today was our weekly Temple Day. Sue and I went to Rexburg. It was a good, peaceful day. I love going to the Temple and feeling the peace that is there just for me.
I made this page today and downloaded all the Summer Driggs kits that I had missed. It takes forever to download these kits.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the Temple. What a wonderful place to recieve inspiration and feel the love of Heavenly Father.

Pedicure Day

Training Red

Mary and I went to Mia Bella and had pedicures. It's so fun to go with Mary. She is sweet and funny and a really good person. We made appointments for one month and also hair appointments.
Came home and fixed dinner and now it's time to relax. I woke up at 4am so I'm a little tired.
I made this page this morning. One by one I'm getting them done.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for a friend like Mary. I am blessed to get to do things with her.

I Won't Give Up!

The last day of Summer for the kids and I decided I should can the tub of Tomatoes from my garden. I put them all in boiling water, peeled the skin off, put them in quart jars and put them in the boiling water canner. The jars were hot when I started but by the time I had packed the jars, they were cold. I put them in the water and I heard two pops. Oops! I know that sound. Of the 4 quarts that I had ended up with I had two crack. So I got them out and emptied all the tomatoes into a kettle and made a batch of Spaghetti Sauce. Tommy and the kids liked it, so I guess it was worth it. I know next time to put the jars in the boiling water one at a time as they are packed, or cook the tomatoes.
It rained off and on all day and really started coming down about the time I took the kids to YM/YW. It's good for my garden, so I don't mind.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful that I have a garden to harvest things from. I know how to grow stuff in Idaho now and it gets better each year. Heavenly Father gave me all I need! I am blessed.

Going Home to Idaho

 Austin reading his book.

 Long road home.

Austin took a picture of us.

I got up early and took my shower, packed my stuff, put the sheets from Dean and Amie's bed in the washer and off we went. We stopped by John's to say goodbye and give Heather and Gracie a hug and John too. How I love my family. Then it started raining on us about Tremonton and got worse all the way through Pocatello. But we finally made it and it's good to be home. I do love watching those cute Ingram boys. They keep me laughing all the time.
Janna made General Tso chicken and I made some Chocolate Chip Cookies for her. Now it's my bed time.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for a safe drive home. It's good to feel safe when I am driving. I am blessed so much it makes me cry to think of all I have.

Going to Heather's Ward

 Gracie's is ready for Church!
Beautiful mom and daughter.

Play Ball

Today was a wonderful day. I got to go to church with Heather and Gracie. We went to Heather's ward and met the Bishop and attended the Gospel Essential's Class and met the Relief Society President. We didn't go to Relief Society because Gracie had had enough. So I took Heather home and came home and changed sheets and straightened up the house. Amie's cousins are coming today from Virginia to put their son in the MTC. Now I am all ready for them.
The boys went to church by themselves today and were very good. I love that I can send them on their own and don't have to worry about them.
Spent the rest of the afternoon taking a little nap and working on this page.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Heather and Gracie. I love that Heather wants Gracie to go to church. She will be blessed for her efforts.

Lazy Day

Lunch Yesterday I made a Keto Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole for dinner. AJ liked it but not Janna. Oh well. So today I had it for lunc...
