Feeling Good!!

I woke up feeling so good today. What a relief. It's almost like you need to be sick to know how really good not being sick feels like.
I made a few phone calls for Relief Society and made chicken and rice for dinner. It was all I could do. I love that my dear husband does my dishes and my laundry. He always helps me when I need him.
I finished this page today. One more down. I absolutely must catch up!!!
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Temples. Scrapping this page just made me know how important it is to get the youth involved in Temple work. Blessing all around.

I had a terrible night and woke up so tired I slept most of the day. Thank goodness for Tommy. He helped me with Gracie all day.
I got a call from the Bishop, who is out of town, to go visit a sister that is in the middle of a crisis. I was able to go watch her get a blessing and say the prayer. I just about didn't make it. I just kept praying please let me be able to do this. I was able to hear the perfect blessing for her.
Came home and slept and slept.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the priesthood and the ablility Brother Neville had to bless a sister with exactly what Heavenly Father wanted her to hear.

Visiting Teaching Conference

Today Gracie and I went to the church to do Visiting Teaching Conferences. She was so constipated she kept crying. I was having a really hard time and wondering how in the world I was going to get this done. I just said a prayer and asked for help. "Just help her poop. I need some help down here." I turned around and looked at Gracie and she had that look on her face. She said "Poop". What an awesome answer to prayer. But it didn't stop there. Bonnie Hall was the first one I visited with and she asked if she could take Gracie with her. Gracie went willingly with a cookie bribe. Now don't I just know how much I am loved and how my prayers are answered.
I got the moring visits done and picked up Gracie. She had been just fine. Then it was home to put her down for a nap. She was out like a light.
I had to be back at the church from 6pm to 8pm for the evening visits. We got those finished but I still have tons to call that couldn't make it or didn't want to or whatever.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for prayer. What a wonderful thing to know they are answered when needed.

Another Busy Day

Page I made today.

 Gracie and the Powdered Sugar

My Little Helper

I took care of Gracie today. She helped me make a Chocolate Fudge Cake and grate cheese for our Tacos for dinner tonight. Now she knows what powdered sugar feels like and tastes like. She thinks it was pretty good.
Janna came home at 3 and brought Heather. She has a cold and just doesn't feel very well. So at 3:25 I was off duty. And I was able to make this page today.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my little Gracie. She just makes me happy. I am blessed to be able to watch her.

Back to the Grind

Gracie is taking it easy talking on Mom's phone...

Birthday Girl

I was so very tired this morning that I laid down with Gracie and we took a wonderful nap. I worked on this page off and on today until it was done. I had started it in St. George and finished it today. Heather Merrill and I are going to scrap a page everyday. I need to get caught up. So I am up for it.
This afternoon I went to Gracie's new Day Care called LoLo's and got a paper signed for Heather so she can change daycare centers. Then it was off to Idaho Falls to pick up Heather from work.
I came home and made pizza dough so we could have pizza's for dinner. They were yummy.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the people in my life. It's so wonderful to be surrounded by people that love me. I am truly blessed.

Coming Home in a Snow Storm

 Heather and Gerri

 My good friend Judy

Surprise Snow Storm

I woke up to it snowing outside and thought it would be a fun ride home. I took two more group photos so I would have everyone to scrapbook. Who knows when I'll make it to 2015. I just have to catch up.
Then it was off to the freeway for a long drive home to Idaho. We tried to follow Heather and Gerri but to no avail. I dropped Judy off and gave Amie money for the cleaning deposit and a hug and off I went by myself to Idaho. It was a long uneventful drive.
It was so good to be home but I really wanted to go back for just a little bit longer.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for a safe drive home. I always feel that I am being protected by the power of prayer. What a blessing....

Sabbath Day in St. George

We hung out all day just having fun. No stores or restaurants for us. I put on the black beans for our burritos and scrapped some more.
Kathy came over again with Aiden to visit. I just love this lady. I should have gotten a picture. They had dinner with us. What a fabulous friend. She brought me Homemade Vanilla. I love this. The one in the pretty bottle has been working for a year and the quart jar is just started.
Pages I scrapped, Yeah, I am making progress.

 Girls Camp

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the scriptures. As I study the Old Testament I am so grateful for the things I am learning. Blessing once again.

Red Hot Contest

        Atomic Fireball Challenge

 Heather's mouth is on fire!!

Judy decided we had to have a contest on who could last the longest. Gerri and I were the first to give up. But most of these ladies were able to survive the hot part and last until it wasn't hot anymore. Fun times torturing each other.
We scrapbooked and went to Larsen's Frostop for lunch. Yummy food. Some of the ladies went hiking the red rocks and Judy, Kaitlyn and I went to Walmart to get stuff for Black Bean Burritos for Sunday.
Kathy and Kristen came over and we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. What fun to have such a good friend.

Grateful Statement: I am so blessed to have these sweet ladies as scrapbooking buddies. Heavenly Father knew I needed friends.

Chili's for Lunch

 Group Shot (Serious)

 Group Shot (Funny Faces)

Wow, there is a lot of us!

I scrapped some more and we went to Chili's for lunch. What fun, but we had a new waitress and it took us three hours to have lunch. But it was fun. Back to scrapping for me. These are the pages I have done so far.

 Kick It

I am having so much fun I can't hardly stand it. On to the next adventure!
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful that I learned to do digital scrapbooking. I love to relive these memories as I scrap them. Blessing galore in my life...

Off to St George

Judy and Heather hooking up the VCR.

I went and picked up Judy at 9am and we were off. We had fun chatting all the way. I just love this lady. We went to In n Out Burger for lunch and then got the Condo all ready for scrapping. What a fun weekend we are going to have. Megan and Cali showed up first and then Heather and Gerrie and last but not least Lori, Heidi and Kaitlyn. The condo was perfect and everyone had a place to sleep.
We scrapped awhile and then headed to Olive Gardens for dinner. Yummy. I had the house salad. It was sooooo Good.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for all my scrapping buddies. We have been doing this for a long time. I think it is a gift and a blessing that I am able to do this.

Going to Utah

I drove to Utah this afternoon after I picked up Gracie from Day Care and then Heather from work. I left around 4 and stopped in Lehi for KFC and then went to Dean and Amie's for the night. I love that I can stay there whenever I want. And their bed is so comfy. I sleep like a log.
I was pretty tired and it was about 8:30 so I just gave hugs and went to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my kids. I know I say it all the time but that's because I am grateful for them all the time. I am blessed...

Hayden to the Orthodontist

Adjusting Braces

I took Hayden to the Orthodontist this morning so they could tighten his braces. He is such a good kid. He just does whatever anyone tells him and doesn't complain. I love him to pieces, along with the other 8 grandkids. I worked some more organizing my new cookbook.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Hayden. He has brought me such joy and fun time. I am blessed to have him as a grandson.

Fixing my Cookbooks

Judy and I went to a scrap store and I got paper to divide my cookbook. It was too big for one binder. I got it all done after a trip to Walmart. Now I have to make sure all the recipes are in it. I thought I had backed up my Cook'n file but it wasn't on my external hard drive so I have to wait until I get home to make sure it's all right. It was so much fun spending the morning with Judy.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for friends. Judy has been my friend for lots of years.

Sunday, February 8, 2015

The boys and I went to church today. It was so good to get so many good hugs from all my former ward family members. What is it about ward families? I just love them. Everyone I have ever been part of.
We came home and just did about nothing for the rest of the day.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my Savior. It's so good to go anywhere and find a church that will always teach the same principles.

Kid Watching in Utah

I drove to Utah today with Heather and Graci so I could watch the boys while Dean and Amie go to Cancun with Prudential Real Estate. I always love to see this wonderful family of mine.
It was an uneventful drive, just like I like it. I dropped Heather off and went up to Dean's. Amie had Stuffed Bell Peppers for dinner. I had forgotten how yummy they are.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to serve my children. I would truly do anything for them. I am blessed each and every day.

Saturday Duties

I made bread today because I was out. I love using Kamut. It is such a soft flour that when I mix it with Spelt and Wheat flour my bread is ...
