 I made this page today of my mom when we dressed her. It brought back some pretty hard memories but also sweet ones.

Today Janna, Austin, Bailee and I went to church. It was a good day. The speakers and teachers were very good. The Sunday School teacher once again wanted Denise my neighbor to introduce me. I told him that I was his neighbor so maybe he would remember who I was next time. The people that moved in the house across the street from us spoke in church. They gave good talks. I just wonder sometimes what the Bishop thinks of me when I have never been asked to talk. Not that I want to but I just wonder why. I wonder if it's because Tommy doesn't come to church. I better quit wondering or I will be giving a talk.
I worked on this page of my cousin and sister-in-law and niece helping me dress my mom. I wanted to scrap this so I would remember what a sweet experience it was. I was so nervous thinking about seeing my mom but it was so wonderful. I'm glad I have these pictures of this wonderful event.
After church I straighten up my house and made brown rice to go with the black beans I put in the crock pot this morning before church. I got a text from Amie saying she was just leaving Pocatello. She got here about an hour later and stayed about 30 minutes and drove back to Utah. What a long drive she had. They are coming back up here next weekend to spend a couple of days and pick up the boys. It's good to have the boys here with me. Janna made homemade ice cream tonight. It is so yummy. I really love it. Now I need to get the boys over here so they can go to bed. I do believe they are tired.
Grateful Statement: Today I am grateful for Harrison and Hayden. What sweet boys they are. It's good to have them here to visit.

Pages I Did With Kathy

Here are the pages I made with Kathy. We also redid the other ones I had already made so she could put her own journaling in and change some of the pictures. All of Island Park from last year is done.
Today I worked on my house and did laundry. Tommy, Janna and the kids went with me to storage and we got a bunch of our stuff. We have to be out of the storage place at the end of the month or pay again, so we are moving it all into the garage. We have it all done except a few thing and food storage.
Janna and Austin crawled under the house today and put a plastic barrier down so we can get our final. We are close just a couple more things to do.
Then Tommy and the kids went to the Mexican place and brought food back for us. Very good. Now I am watching TV and doing nothing. I do have to fold a load of laundry before I go to bed.
My house is too quiet without Kathy and the kids. I really miss them. I talked to Amie tonight and she is bringing Hayden and Harrison up to me tomorrow to spend the week. I just can't wait to spend the week with them.
Grateful Statement: Today I am grateful for all the help Janna and the kids give us. They are always there when we need something done. They are a blessing in my life.



Saying Goodbye

Kathy packed up her stuff and we fed the kids Chicken Quasadillas for lunch and I took them to the Airport in Idaho Falls. It was sad to say goodbye. We have had such a wonderful time. When I got home the kids were all bummed out because their cousins were gone. They want them to come back this winter so they can go snow mobiling with them. We'll see how that one flies.

I straighten up my house a little and did a couple loads of laundry and that was pretty much all I accomplished this afternoon. Now I'm going to finish this blog up and work on another page.

Grateful Statement: Today I am so grateful for all I have. I am truly blessed with so many things it's hard to count them all. I know one thing for sure, these 4 are a true blessing in my life. I just love them to pieces.

Today we headed out to Swan Valley after a relaxing morning of scrapping and visiting. Kathy and I have scrapped 12 double layouts. We are finished with all of our vacation to Island Park last year. It has been so fun to scrap with my sweet niece. We spent about 3 hours driving around Swan Valley and seeing the falls and Palisades Reservoir. Such pretty scenery. At one point on a narrow dirt road we had a lady flag us down coming the other way to tell us that two wide loads were coming and I might want to wait here for them so I could get off the road. Here came a huge cat on a flat bed and another truck. So after they went by us we started off again and ran into a BMC truck with a long trailer. So we hugged the side of the road until they went by and here came another one. What the heck. This was a little dirt road in the middle of nowhere. As we kept going we saw the cause of all this traffic. They were digging out pads and building houses along the river. We decided they could build us one so we could spend each and every summer by the river canoeing and rafting and fishing. We can dream, can't we!
After that we stopped for Square Ice Cream at the general store. It was refreshing but not as good as the homemade stuff Janna had made for us a couple of nights ago. But it hit the spot and we started off for home. We spent the night visiting and Kathy played cards with the kids. We sent in her pages to Allen's to get them printed off. Then it was off to bed to get some much needed rest.
Grateful Statement: Today I am grateful for Heavenly Father's creations. What beautiful sites we saw today. I am so blessed to live here.

Miss Kitty is now Fixed

Today Harley and I took Maggie to get her shots and Miss Kitty to get fixed at the vet's. We had to be there at 8am so Harley had to get up early. (That was my first trip to Rigby today.)
At noon Kathy and I stopped scrapping and went to lunch with Janna at the New Star Chinese Restaurant. It was fun to just be with Janna and eating chinese. (That was my second trip to Rigby today.)
Kathy and I came home from having lunch and grabbed Lexie and Bailee to take then to the Dollar Store to get balloons for water balloons. Kathy and I dropped them off and went to the market for a few things. We picked them up and went back to the house so they could play in the water. They love to take water balloons on the tramp and jump on them. (My 3rd trip.)
Then back to Rigby to pick up Miss Kitty and bring her home. Harley came with me to get her. (My 4th trip.)
Then as I was driving home I realized I had written the check to the vet out of the wrong account so Kathy and I had to go back to Rigby to the bank so they could transfer money for me. I took my UCCU checkbook and debit cards and put them away. In order for me to make that mistake again I'm going to have to work at it. (My 5th and final trip to Rigby today.)
In between going back and forth to Rigby Kathy and I made spaghetti for dinner and scrapbooked and finished another layout. This one was of Sawtelle Peak where Scott took me when I got the phone call that my mom had passed away. It was a little hard but I managed to get it done.  Kathy still has to journal her's and then she is done too. We have almost finished the wonderful vacation pictures from last year.
Grateful Statement: Today I am grateful for my new car that is so wonderful. It is fun to drive and gets me to Rigby and back as many times as I need it to.

Bear World

We took all the kids to Bear world today. We had a great time looking at all the elk, buffalo, bears, deer and wild turkeys. Then we went to the gift shop and petting zoo. It was fun to see all the baby animals.
We came home from that and Kathy and I scrapped and the kids played on the tramp and watched movies. I made Shikabobs for dinner. Yummy. Then we worked on our pages some more and went to bed.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for Bear World. It was fun to see all the animals up close. And to have it 15 minutes from home is an added bonus.

Having More Fun with Kathy and Kids

We are on our way to Walmart and the Dollar store. That's Harley head. Too many kids, too little seats.

Today was a fabulous day as usual. It always is when you have lots of fun things to do and lots of fun people to be around. We sat around and talked most of the morning and then everyone got ready and we headed out to Idaho Falls for a little shopping trip. I got some red placemats and rugs for my kitchen. Then I went to my favorite kitchen supply place and got a new cutting board so I won't cut my countertops. I just love that store. Then on to the Dollar Store and home for lunch.

Kathy and I scrapped the rest of the day and made Black Bean Burritos for dinner. So very yummy. Then we scrapped some more, went for a little walk, did Janna's bookwork, put together puzzles and that's about it.

Grateful Statement: I am grateful for these wonderful memories I am making to enjoy the rest of my life. It's so fun to look back at the pictures from last year as Kathy and I scrap them. We get to relive that vacation all over again. Blessing never cease in my life.
