Gracie found this top in some old clothes of Bailee's and just loved it. She wore it all day long. She is still wearing her paw print Janna had painted on her face at a football game of Bailey's. Hopefully one day it will come off. What a funny little girl she is.

Grateful Statement: I am so blessed to have this little munchkin to make me laugh. I am so grateful for her sweet Spirit that brings such joy into my life.

Home On The Couch

Janna, AJ and I took Gracie to Rexburg to have a lump removed from her neck. It was pretty standard surgery and ended up being a cyst. The ENT Dr. said it may grow back but it's no big deal. I am just glad it was nothing and that surgery went well. This little trooper never cried. When we got home Papa made hot dogs and Gracie wanted one so she ate the whole thing sitting on the couch watching cartoons.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful this little girl is so good. She does what she is told and is so good. She is a blessing in my life and I think Heavenly Father knew I needed this little one to take care of. I am blessed!

Red Robin Restaurant

What a day. I went to church and helped the Sunbeams go up to the microphone to do their parts. They were so cute. I also was asked to offer the closing prayer. Then I taught the lesson after we ran around outside for a little while. They were so tired of sitting they had to run around.

Then I came home and we went into Idaho Falls to Red Robin to meet Ron and his girlfriend Sara for dinner. It was good to celebrate Bailee's 18th birthday with everyone. How in the world can she be 18 already. It was fun and I know the Lord will forgive me for breaking the Sabbath to attend. If only all the world felt about the Sabbath the way I do. 

We came home and Gracie was really tired so I think we are going to bed.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for all my many blessings. I am grateful to be a Primary Teacher for the little Sunbeams. I am blessed.

Janna Bought Her a New Coat

I spent most of the day working on Janna and my bank accounts. I reconciled everything and set up bill pay accounts. I am so glad that job is over with. Now to check it every morning and keep it up to date.
Gracie was really into playing with her babies and spent some time before leaving for Lolo's reading stories to her dollies. I love to watch her play. Such and imagination. She is so independent and just takes care of herself. And I love all the little friends she has to play with.
I cooked a ham from our piggy and it was the best ham I have had in a long time. I put garlic mashed potatoes in the crock pot and open a can of corn. Dinner was done. Janna had to work really late so Harley and Gracie took her a plate of food. They went to Cal Ranch where Harley works and picked out this cute jacket for Gracie.
Grateful Statement: I am so glad that I learned how to be a bookkeeper many years ago. It's good to know how to keep everything straight. I am blessed with a desire to always be learning something new.

Ready for Lolo's

4 More Quarts

I took Gracie to Lolo's today and came home and started Black Beans for Burritos for dinner and emptied 5 quarts of puree'd tomatoes in a big pot. I added all the spices and let it simmer for about 4 hours. Then I canned it in my Steamer Canner. It was better than the other one's. How easy to make spaghetti now. I also made yummy Lemon Chicken Quinoa Soup. I love this soup. It is DElish.

I do believe I am tired and ready for bed.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful today for the energy I have had to accomplish the things I needed to get done. I am blessed!

Taking Tommie to the Shuttle

Gracie and I took Tommie to the Shuttle so she could ride it home. We had such a good time with her. Gracie loves her Cha Cha. We hit Walmart a couple of times and went for Ice Cream and Popeye Chicken.
I was glad to have someone to go to the doctor with me for Gracie. We had a good time together.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Tommie. She is such a good Grandma to Gracie. I am blessed beyond measure.

Tommie and I took Gracie to Bear World to see all the animals. There were bears everywhere along with elk, deer, buffalo and wolves. It was so much fun. they had some little rides for the kids. Gracie loved them all except for the one that went around and around. She got off the ride and said "I don't love that ride". She had a wonderful time petting the animals, and seeing the bears and riding on rides.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Tommie. I am so grateful that she loves this little girl as much as I do. I am blessed.

Cha Cha Showing Gracie Pictures

I discovered a lump on Gracie's throat last week. Janna took her to Community Care and they told her to take her to her ENT doctor. So Tommie and I took her today. He said it was a Thyroid Gland that formed a lump. She is scheduled for Surgery on the 29th to have it removed. He doesn't think it's infected and said it would be a pretty simple procedure. There is a chance that it is attached to a bone in the front of her throat and if so he will have to remove a part of the bone in her throat. So we shall see.

It's very nice having her here to play with Gracie. She is a good grandma.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Tommie. She is always willing and able to help me with Gracie. She loves this little girl so much. I am blessed.

St. George Here I Come

Kathy is spoiling Miss Gracie

On Wednesday I drove to Utah and had dinner with John and Gina at Sizzler. Then it was up the hill to Dean's house for a good nights sleep.

On Thursday I picked up Judy and we headed for St. George. It was uneventful but fun to talk with Judy.  We settled in and waited for the rest of the group to show up. We made pulled pork sandwiches for dinner. We are done with ours and now everyone else gets their turn. I started scrapping Gracie's book again. Kathy came over and was afraid to tell me she couldn't get off work to go to Arizona. I just cancelled my flight and told her it was okay. It's hard to plan things with you have a boss.

On Friday we went to a little restaurant in a strip mall in Hurricane. The food was excellent. Gerri and Heather know how to pick them. Then Heather and Gerri made yummy Chicken Tacos for dinner. More scrapbooking. I bought some more quick pages from Lori's store. 

On Saturday we went to another little restaurant in Hurricane. I actually remembered to take a picture of us in front of this cute sign. Then Megan and Calli made Hawaiian Haystacks for dinner. Then it was back to scrapping.

On Sunday we went to the 9am Sacrament Meeting just down the road. It was good and they had wonderful speakers. We came back and had left overs for dinner. Kathy came over and we went to Walmart. Yes, I am a Sabbath Breaker. She wanted to get Gracie a little something to take back to her. She ended up spending $150 on outfits for Miss Gracie. How cute is that and she really needed some clothes. She is now decked out in style.

On Monday Judy and I headed to Elk Ridge. I dropped her off and went and picked up Tommie so she could spend a few days with Gracie. It was a long, long drive but I made it back to Rigby. Gracie was so happy to see me.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this fun weekend I was able to have with all my dear friends. I am blessed to be able to do this and that Dean and Amie let us use their Condo. Blessings Abound!!!
