Today Gracie and I went to Best Buy and I got a new Fitbit. My old one broke and I decided I needed a new one to track my steps. It tracks my steps on Weight Watchers and gives me extra points. Pretty fun. It also reminds me to move if I have sat too long. Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the ability I have to purchase fun stuff. I am blessed to have sufficient for my needs.
Tommy finished the chicken coop and the chickens love it. They are laying eggs and it's so easy to gather them. No more laying them in the field and all over the barn. I really love fresh farm eggs and I really love gathering them. It reminds me of when I was a kid and my job was to gather eggs every night. Sometimes the rooster would try to peck me but I gathered them anyway. Good memories!
Time to sit on the porch.
Tommy also finished my front porch. He put down Trex. You never have to do anything to it. Just my kind of deck. I am one lucky lady to have such a handy hubby. Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Tommy. We have grown old together and it's nice to have all the same memories to share.
Janna and Harley
Today I went to Ward Council and gave the Spiritual Thought. It was a very good meeting. Our ward is doing so much missionary work and so many inactive and part member families are coming back. Two fathers have started coming so their kids can get baptized. We are on fire!!!
Lyn Olsen taught our Relief Society lesson and she was awesome. She is a natural born teacher. I am so glad the Lord directed her to me. They also called Aarin Smith as my first councilor. She will also be so much fun to work with. I know she is a hard worker.
I came home from church and took a nap. I was so tired. Heather and Janna had a bail call last night so I watched Gracie while they met the mom to bail out her son. By the time I got to bed is was past eleven and one before I got to sleep. Then I got up at 5:30 so I could be at the ward at 7:25.
That's been my beautiful sabbath. So grateful for a day of rest.
I also made these two pages last week. One day I will be caught up. Gra…

Wheat, Spelt and Kamut Bread
Today has been a lazy day for me. I love sunshine so when it doesn't happen I tend to sit in my chair and watch TV. I did get this bread made this morning for the house next door. And I got all the meat I bought yesterday divided up and put in the freezer. And I washed and cut up my Romaine for my salads so I guess I did do a few things today. Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my ability to make bread. I am blessed to have a grinder and a mixer. Blessing abound in my life!!
