Catching Up Again

Bailee

On December 8th I let Bailee drive my car around the driveway and then we went over to the church and she drove around the parking lot. Now she thinks she is a driver. Can't believe she is this old.
John came and spent two weeks with me at Christmas. We had such a good time. I baked and baked and baked some more for all my neighbor gifts and family gifts. I had to make John his Mexican Wedding Cakes. John did tons of dishes for me. We had Christmas dinner with Ron and all of us. I got Elements 11 for Christmas. I just love it. I have decided that I am going to start doing the things I love again. And I do love scrapbooking.
Heather called me to tell me that I am going to be a Great Grandma. I am happy for her and hope this is what she needs to give purpose to her life. I just love her to pieces.
The day after Christmas Tommy, Austin, Bailee, Harley and John went to Utah to spend time with Dean and Amie and kids. We dropped John off at his apartment and went up to Elk Ridge for Christmas Dinner with the Ingram's. Amie made a delicious Ham dinner for us. Austin thinks she is such a good cook. Of course his favorite was her delicious rolls.

Money Tree

This is the money tree Amie gave me. Isn't it just the cutest thing ever. She is so creative, I'm going to steal this idea. I gave the kids their slippers I made for them and they all got an old silver dollar of their great grandma's. A couple of the kids actually got one that was one hundred years before they were born.

Hayden

Hayden playing on his Ipod. These boys love to play games. It took me awhile to get him to look at me. He is just so darn cute.

Harley

Harley spent the three days we were there reading her Nook and putting together Aunt Amie's puzzle. I was amazed that she left the farm to come with us.

Kids

Bailee spent one night with Meagan and the rest with her cousins. They sledded and watched scary movies and just had fun. We went out to dinner with Dean and Family for his birthday to Ruby River. It was fun and thank goodness he drove us home through the fog. Tommy and I don't see too well at night anymore. How I love getting old. We had a marvelous time.
I went to lunch with Heather and John and the next day I went with Gerri and Heather. I love my friends and family. It snowed the entire time we were there. Austin loved it because he could to sledding with his cousins.
We left on Saturday and drove home so I could be back for Church on Sunday. The Young Women's Presidency talked and did a wonderful job. Really made me think about what I need to be doing.

Green Bags

Today Austin and I went to Winco at 8am. Two hours later and $500 and now I have to put a date on everything and put it away. Janna made a menu for me so I got all the meat and most of the things for a month. Thank goodness I don't have to do this very often. It is so much work.
I came home and put the perishables away and took Bailee and Marissa to Wal-mart so Bailee could take her sweat shirt back that her other grandma bought her. What a mess that was. So many people but we finally go it done. I came home and proceeded to put all my groceries away.  Took me forever. Now it's time to go to bed so I can get up and make a Ham dinner for New Year's Day.

Happy Birthday to my wonderful son Dean. I left him a birthday wish on facebook. He is so special to me.

Grateful Statement: I am grateful for this wonderful Christmas Season. I'm grateful that I was able to see my entire family except Malachi. I am blessed to have the kids and grandkids I have.
