Bailee spent her babysitting money on this dirt bike. She loves it. Becca rode the four wheeler around and around. They had so much together.  It was hard to get pictures. Thank goodness for a zoom lens.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my Bailee. She is awesome and so dang cute. I am blessed to have her in my family.

Eating Lunch

We went to Island Park so the kids and Kathy could go Canoeing and Gracie and Heather could play in the water. We had a good time. It's always my favorite place in the summer.

Grateful Statement: I am grateful for these beautiful place God made for me to enjoy. What a blessing to live so close to this beautiful place.

Kathy and Becca flew in yesterday to start a week of fun. The kids made all sorts of plans for the week. Kathy and I made wheat bread so we could have some yummy wheat bread toast. Becca just has the funniest sense of humor. She kept us laughing all the time.

Grateful Statement: So grateful for these two. I am so blessed to have had Kathy in my life since she was a born. She is wonderful.

Another assignment for my class. To take a picture of a person and a pet. So Bailee and Toby got to be my models. If only Toby wasn't so terrified of everything. But I think it's cute.

Went to Ward Council meeting early. It was Joe Petersen's Farewell so there was tons of people there. It was a wonderful Sacrament, Sunday School and Relief Society meeting. Our lesson was taught by Krista Corgatelli. Her mom was put in a mental institute years ago and just recently died. Her father divorced her so the state would provide the long term care she needed. The lesson was on Eternal Marriage and Krista is single. She really had a hard time teaching it but did a wonderful job. 

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the Gospel. It is so perfect and accounts for every situation we are in. What a blessing when your life isn't the story book one you always wanted.

We went to the cannery on Saturday morning and canned stuff for the sisters. We really had a fun time and accomplished a lot. It's fun to get in and work with the wonderful sisters in our ward. Fun times!

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for a caring Heavenly Father that instituted food storage. My mind is at easy with my food storage because I know I can always feed my family. What a blessing that is to me.

I have been working on my photography class and I think I'm learning so much. Who knew all this stuff mattered but as I scrap my pictures I can see where I needed to do things differently. So it's worth it but it keeps me busy. This is a photo I took under my neighbors trees for diffused light. My new big word....

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to take this class online. I do believe it's the first of many. I am so blessed with my wonderful life.

What a mess.

We had a birthday party for Gracie with cake and balloons and presents. She loved it all, especially this loader John got her. As long as it didn't come after her she was good.

It was fun to see this sweet one year old have so much fun.

Grateful Statement: I am grateful for this sweet little spirit straight from Heaven. She is just the best and I am so blessed to be her great grammy.

Heather and the troop went shopping and John finished the swing set and installed my window A/C's for me. What a relief that was to get them in. It's been slightly warm the last couple of days. Summer is here!

Heather and Tommie made Shishkabob's for dinner. They were really yummy. Then John started a fire in our firepit so the kids could roast marshmellows. But instead they roasted Star Bursts. 

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this son of mine. He is the best and I love him to pieces. I am blessed!

John, Tommie and Megan came to spend the 4th and celebrate Gracie's birthday with us. Janna and I bought Gracie a swing set for her birthday and John and Heather are trying to figure out how it goes together. 

The gang went to Walmart in the afternoon and I stayed home and finished my stuff.  

We ordered Pizza for dinner and stayed on the patio until the thunder storm came. I love summer storms.

That was my day today. Very laid back and relaxing.

Grateful Statement: I am again grateful for the wonderful family and extended family I have. What a blessing they are to me.

Today I took Heather to Physical Therapy and put Gracie down for her nap. Heather called to tell me she was through so I had to wake Gracie up as she had a WIC appointment for he 1 year check up. I really can't believe she is already a year.

Off we went to Walmart after her WIC appt. so I could find her a swing set for her birthday. Walmart didn't have one so we went to Kmart. So we went to Toy R Us and they had one. By this time we were all tired and Gracie wanted her bottle. But we found the swing set. Wahoo.

Grateful Statement: I am grateful that I have the means to buy this sweet baby her swing set. I am blessed!

Heather, Gracie and I went to Winco to do our grocery shopping. What a job that is. Came home and put it all away. I rotate all my stuff so it takes awhile to put everything away, but it is done!

Heather cleaned my house for me and then we went to Broulims for the three things I forgot at Winco. Gracie wore her sunglasses the entire time. What a nut she is.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my life. I am so blessed with having the Gospel in my life. It gives me a sure direction to Heaven.
