Stressed to the Max

Gracie and her baby bug.

I have so much to do to get ready to go and Gracie is still sick. Today her nose is green. I don't know whether to take her to the doctor or not. She really is feeling better today. Just her runny green nose.
I worked on my laundry and found the sweatshirt I had been missing of Gracie. It was dirty so I had to wash it. I started folding all the clothes and putting them away. I packed Gracie's bag up with all her stuff. So I am getting there.
I am a tad bit grumpy and not very nice. I will have to make this up to Gracie because I don't have time for her to be needy. I did take time out to have her jump on the tramp. She caught a little bug and thought it was so cute.
I found this new recipe on Pinterest for Chicken and Rice Chimichangas that are baked in the oven so they are more healthy. Everyone loved them. So I will put that recipe in my Cook'n cook book.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this cutie pie I take care of. Even on the worst days I know it's exactly where Heavenly Father wants her to be.

Still Sick

Here I am with my Dolly and buggy

Gracie is still sick. But now her nose has started to run a stream. She went through one whole box of tissues today. I hope she starts feeling better soon. I have so much to do to get ready to go to Utah and all she wants is for me to play with her and hold her. Which I do love to do. But my house is a wreck and my laundry is not done. But it will just all have to wait.
I made yummy French Toast for dinner using Texas Toast. Kathy Porterfield told me about it. It is so thick and just so good.
I scanned some more pictures from my mom's album today. The one above is my favorite of the ones I did today.
I can't wait to scrap them.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for these pictures my mom took. They are such a treasure to me. I am so blessed!

Sick Little Gracie

Janna brought Gracie over this morning and she had been running a fever all night. She kept telling me her nose hurt. So she stayed home with me. She wasn't feeling good all day.
I grabbed a pork roast out of the freezer and stuck it in my crock pot so we could have barbecued sandwiches for dinner.
I ran to Broulim's to get hamburger buns and fruit. I also price checked the flour with Winco prices.

Flour from Broulims - 25 lb bag

At Winco it is $15.20 for 50 lbs so for 76 cents I think I will buy it at Broulims in 25 lb bags that are easier for me to handle. I love to find the best deal. It's so weird because most of my life I didn't even look at prices. I just got what I needed. Shame on me all those years.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for medicine that can make a sick little girl feel better. What a blessing it is to have medicine to help.

Teaching My Sunbeams

I taught my sweet little Sunbeams about Daniel and how wonderful it is to have a wonderful body. We fed Daniel good food. It was fun. We did have to go run around outside for a little while to get rid of some energy. They had a good time. We always have fun and food. That's what's important to them.
Britney, my team teacher is moving so they released her and now my partner is Connie Petersen. She is just the best. So we are excited to teach together.
I got Aarin Smith to substitute for me next Sunday because I will be in Utah for a scrapping weekend.
Connie's husband Jesse has Parkinson's so they will be doing a deep brain stimulation on him to help the tremors. So for the month of May she will be down in Salt Lake off and on.
Our church gets out at 5pm and by the time I get home it's 5:30ish so I am tired and ready to do nothing. I don't cook on Sunday so everyone helps themselves or Janna makes something. I can't wait for January when we go from 8am to 11am, Then I can take Gracie with me every Sunday. 2 O'clock is her nap time and she is a bear if she doesn't get one.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the Gospel and Sunday. I love to partake of the Sacrament and feel the Spirit. What a blessing it is in my life.

New PJ'S and Two Roosters

 Gracie's New PJ's

 Harley and Rooster #1

Rooster #2

Today was a wonderful day. I woke up rested and energetic. I make White Chicken Chili and Cinnamon Rolls again.
I worked on my lesson and cut out handouts. I love the Sunday Saver. It has cute stuff for all the lessons.
Janna bought Gracie a new pair of PJ's from Walmart. She is growing so fast we can't keep up. We just love her to pieces around here.
Harley came home and found the man next door's rooster in our barn. So she took the dogs and ran it down and caught it. She put it over the fence and came back and saw another rooster in our chicken coop eating away. The dogs chased this one all over the arena and all over the back pasture. Finally Harley caught it and put it over the fence. I guess she qualifies as a rooster catcher now. The dogs had a great time chasing this thing all over the farm.
AJ and Janna replace the broken counter top in my spare bathroom. It was cracked and looked really bad. So for Mother's day her and AJ bought one and put it in.
Then I got a card and a gift card in the mail from Dean, Amie and the kids. What sweet kind words to me.
Then BJ came home from working at Kings and brought me a flower and a sweet card. I am one loved mom and grandma.
Grateful Statement: I am so blessed to have my wonderful family. I love each and everyone of them to the moon and back. How blessed I am.

Thinking of My Hannah Today

Hannah BoBanna and her Companion

Today I was so tired I didn't even make dinner. Just told everyone to fend for themselves. I did manage to make Cinnamon Rolls. I am trying to perfect them.
This little Missionary has been on my mind. I just love her to pieces and can't wait to read her blog every week. She is just doing so well. Always has that sweet smile on. This is my favorite part of this weeks email.
"Above all else this week I just feel so immensely grateful! I feel super blessed to be where I am right now. I feel like it is such a privilege to be able to teach all of the investigators we have right now and how close I feel with them. I'm especially blessed to be with Hermana Sandison who shows me every day I love my mission! Our neighbor said, "You girls wake up laughing and then go to bed laughing don't you?"
I don't doubt that one bit. This is one happy missionary.
Well it's 8:30 and I am dead tired and going to bed. It isn't even dark out but I don't care.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Hannah and her decision to serve a mission. Peru will be blessed because she came.

New Glasses

Gracie and I went to Eye Care Center and ordered my new glasses. I had glued my other ones together too many times. I just hate spending money. I would rather buy kits for scrapping. But I did it and they told me it would be a couple of hours. I was amazed. I thought because it was a tri-focal it would take days. So Gracie and I went to Wal-Mart and walked around. Gracie was having a fit so we were going out the door with nothing. I took her to MacDonald's for a hamburger to kill some time. While we were sitting there I got a text for the eye place to say my glasses were done and it took 33 minutes. Now that is service!!
So we went back and picked them up. They were hard to wear for the first few minutes but my eyes adjusted pretty quick. On the way home it got very quiet in the back seat. Gracie was sound asleep. I put her to bed and she took a 3 hour nap. I think she was tired.
I made chicken in my Pampered Chef crock baker, boiled new potatoes and candied carrots. My kitchen looks like a bomb went off. I don't think I can muster up the courage to face it. But I will try.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful today for eye doctors that can figure out how to make me see better. What a blessing for all the knowledge Heavenly Father gave us.

Lazy Day

Lunch Yesterday I made a Keto Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole for dinner. AJ liked it but not Janna. Oh well. So today I had it for lunc...
