Gangplank Seafood Restaurant

Kathy and I took the kids to have fish and chips at our favorite place. But I must say it wasn't as good it has been in the past. The economy catches up with everything.

We went to Walmart to try to find a rectangular baking stone for my Artisan Bread. But they only had round ones. We were tired and I just wanted to go home. So that's what we did.

Grateful Statement:  I am so grateful that I have gotten to know Ayden and Camden. They are sweet boys and Kathy is blessed to have them as her grandsons.

Going To Church With My BFF

I had to go early to my meeting so Kathy came later. It was so good to sit with her. She was very tired, probably from all the traveling and staying up late. I was supposed to teach the lesson in Relief Society but the Bishop had a letter from the First Presidency that needed to be shared in a class. So he decided to meet with all the adults and read the letter. I was relieved to not have to teach.
We came home and put on a barbecue for Janna and Harley's goat friends. We had Shiskabobs, baked beans, corn on the cob, fresh fruit with dip and a green salad. Homemade Ice Cream on top of brownies for dessert.
I was really tired after that. It was time to sit in my chair and do nothing but talk to my bestie.
I do love the Sabbath. It is renewing to go to church and listen to the members of our ward talk and share their talents.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my ward. I love each and every member. They are a true blessing in my life.

We went out in the street so these boys could set off their fireworks. It was fun and even funnier to see Kathy fret about it all. She finally settled in and just enjoyed it. They were very careful and the first thing Austin did was turn on a hose and put in on the grass just in case. 

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful to live in Rigby. It's a perfect little town for me. I am blessed.

Heather Leaves and Kathy Comes

Today Heather packed up her stuff and moved back to Utah. She wasn't happy away from her family and needed to be happy. She is going to get a job down there and an apartment for her and Gracie. In the meantime Janna and I are taking care of  Gracie. Hopefully it won't be too long until Heather can take her with her.
My very best friend in all the world came today with her two grandsons. She is going to stay a week with me. What a fun time we always have together. Let the party begin. Lots of late nights talking.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Kathy. She is such a good and loyal friend. I love her so much. I am blessed.

Heather decorated the cake I made for Gracie's birthday. She has such artistic talent just like her mom. Then we put her new birthday dress on and had a party. She loved her toys and had fun trying to ride her new Bike. It was fun to celebrate this wonderful second birthday with her.

Grateful Statement: I am grateful for this little girl. She has brought oodles and oodles of happiness into my life. What a blessing she is.

I have been working on my pages. I get to relive my Canada vacation all over again. How wonderful is that. I loved seeing Whitefish Lake Resort. It was beautiful.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful that I have the ability to scrap my pictures. What a blessing to preserve all these memories. I am so blessed.

I went to church and came home and made Grilled Cheese sandwiches and Tomato Soup. It was all I could muster up. 

We watched Janna pull the skidster up to Austin's pool and use it for a diving board. It took Janna forever to jump in. She hit bottom so she decided it was a dumb idea to do this. Smart daughter I raised.
