My Sweet Cousin

Here we are.

Ethel and I went to the Temple today. She works in the laundry so I did a session. It was WONDERFUL. Just what I needed. Time to pray and meditate in the Lord's house. I just love that Ethel lives right down the street from the Temple. We found some lady sitting on a bench and got her to take a picture of us.
We went to lunch at Kneaders after we were done and then it was back to the house. Ruth came over and we scrapbooked and just had fun.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Temples and the knowledge we receive inside. I always learn something new.

Ethel and Ruth came and got me so we could stop by and visited Della and Jake on the way down the mountain. I will dearly miss my sweet brother.
When we got home we sat around and talked (the thing we do the best). I am loving this wonderful time with my cousins. Ruth and I worked on making pages.
Grateful Statement: I am grateful for cousins. I love each and every one of them. I am blessed to have them in my life.

Johnnie and I watched Conference in the morning and afternoon. So many wonderful words of wisdom. I always want to do better after listening to the talks. This was from Jeffrey R. Holland, 

"So today we celebrate the gift of victory over every fall we have ever experienced, every sorrow we have ever known, every discouragement we have ever had, every fear we have ever faced—to say nothing of our resurrection from death and forgiveness for our sins. That victory is available to us because of events that transpired on a weekend like this more than two millennia ago in Jerusalem."

I love this so much. I was fed as I watched and listened with my heart.

I managed to make pages throughout the day.

Bud and Frankie came to visit. It was fun to see them again.
Ethel and I were talking about where our mom's were. I had forgotten about paradise. Look what article Johnnie found for me.

Answered all my questions.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for Conference. I love to listen to each speaker and find the thing that was meant for me.

Ethel, Ruth and I headed up the mountain to Taylor to drop me off at Johnnie's and then they are going to Jake's to stay with him.
When we got to Johnnie's he had a roast and baked potatoes for us to eat. It was yummy. He loves to feed us when we come. After we ate Ruth and Ethel went to Claysprings. Johnnie and I sat in our chairs and talk and watched the news.  I scrapped some more and then it was time for bed.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my brother Johnnie. He is such a good man and always finds the good in each day. I am blessed that he is my brother.

These are more of the pages I did while sitting on Ethel couch with Ruthie. I love to scrapbook. It is so much fun. I love to relive these wonderful memories. Now it's time to pack up my stuff for the trip to the mountains to visit my sweet brother.

Ethel and I went to the market to pick up stuff to make dinner. It's always an adventure to go anywhere with this cousin of mine.

Pedicure

Ethel is relaxing.

Ethel and I went to get a pedi. My heals were so bad I had to have them done. Now I can wear flip flops.We have so much fun together. What a relaxing time. I scrapbook and we talk. I always feel so peaceful when I come to visit my cousins.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my cousins. I am grateful that we have a childhood together and can remember the fun times of our youth.
