I woke up the boys and told Harrison to test, packed my car and off I went. I picked up Gracie at 7:45 and headed for Utah. Heather drove me to John's so I could say goodby and then I took her to her house and Gracie and I were off. She was pretty good. We only stop twice, once to find her ipad and her blanket and once to go to the bathroom. What a trooper she was. 

There was a snowstorm coming in Idaho Falls in the afternoon so I was trying to get home before it hit. Of course, it was 2 hours early so from Pocatello on it was pretty bad. But I prayed for safety and kept on going. I made it home at about 12:20. What a relief.

And when I went into my family room there was a fabulous surprise for me. AJ had made this bookcase for Gracie's toys and all the stuff for my TV. Now I have to finish some more albums to place on it when Gracie is a little older. I just love it!!!

Tommy made me a hamburger to go along with my clean house for my birthday. How sweet is that.

It's 8pm and I am so tired I am going to bed.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for the power of prayer. I always feel comfort when I pray for safety. Blessing abound!

I woke up to snow coming down. I was supposed to go to lunch with Kaylyn but cancelled. It was just to snowy for me. So I spent the day scrapbooking.

Hailey came over and interviewed me for a class she is taking. It was pretty fun. I started packing up all my stuff so I can leave at 7:30 to go get Gracie and head for Idaho. It's supposed to snow in Idaho in the afternoon so I'm heading out early and see if I can beat the storm. Then again the weather men could be wrong.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for these Grandkids of mine. I am so blessed to have the family I have.

What in the world did I do today. Nothing! I cleaned a little, scrapped these two pages. made a little dinner and went to the store. That's it. It was wonderful. I talked to my little Gracie. She is so cute. I love her to pieces. I talked to Tommy, Tommie, Gracie, Ethel, Kathy, Dean. Janna and Johnny. It's been a terrific day.

Now it's time to watch American Idol and vegetate.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for my kids. I love each one of them so much. They are truly a blessing to me.

Today I did not leave the house. I scrapbooked and watched TV all day. I put one of Amie's casseroles in the oven for dinner. Such a lazy wonderful day. 

After the kids came home and Hailey stopped by I took their pictures. Of course, they didn't want me too. But I did it anyway. I am going to have to make my way to the grocery store tomorrow for some salad stuff and fruit for these boys. 

I watched American Idol and talked with Gracie and Tommie. John called me and I called my hubby. That's what I did today. 

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for this wonderful, restful day. I am so blessed to be able to come here and watch after these boys.

I went to the market after Hailey brought me Dean's credit card. Then I came back and continued to scrapbook. Made these two pages. I made grilled chicken salad sandwiches for the boys.
Then back to my computer and watching ID on television.
It has been a most restful, wonderful day.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful today for my ability to scrapbook. It has been such a blessing to relive all these memories as I scrap them. I am blessed!

Ok fine, but I'll give you my mean look.

My good friends Judy and Heather took me out to lunch for my Birthday. Aren't they the sweetest. We went to a Chinese Restaurant by Walmart. It was yummy. I came home and hung out and received pictures from Tommie. She sent the one of Gracie riding the rocking horse I made for Heather when I lived in Acton. It just brought back so many memories of Heather riding that horse. And I think she is wearing a new hat. So cute. The next picture I got was of her and her cousin Grady. They had a great time mauling each other. How very sweet.

In the afternoon I went to Mapleton and picked up John and brought him home with me. He had dinner with me and stayed the night. It was good to have him here.

Grateful Statement: I am so grateful for good friends who I love. I am blessed!

It's My 70th Birthday

I can hardly believe that I am 70 years old. How in the world did that happen?
I woke up to birthday calls and tons of Facebook Wishes. Amie left me a wonderful Cold Stone Cake and balloons and a present. What a sweetheart she is.
I didn't go to church so I could take Gracie to Cha-Cha's house with her mom. I didn't hear anything from Heather until about 2pm. She had misplaced her phone. I picked up Heather and took them to Tommie's house and dropped them off.
I spent the day playing blocks with my little Gracie. She had a great time.
Hailey came over and we had BLT's. They sang Happy Birthday to me and we had cake. It was yummy. I just love my grandkids.
Grateful Statement: I am so grateful Heavenly Father has seen fit to leave me on this earth for this many years. I am truly blessed with a wonderful life.
